This document summarizes the Social Tenure Domain Model (STDM), an open source land administration software. STDM was developed to support various land tenure types and systems at large scales to enable land reform and secure land rights for all. It uses PostgreSQL with PostGIS for spatial data, and QGIS for desktop GIS functions. STDM allows users to design data collection forms, manage administrative units and user permissions, generate reports and map documents.
