This document summarizes a research paper that proposed developing a head-up display (HUD) system for connected cars. The system would allow for vehicle maintenance monitoring and emergency notification. It utilized an ELM327 Bluetooth analyzer connected to a Raspberry Pi to collect and display real-time vehicle diagnostic data over CAN bus. It also used a pulse sensor and Node-Red platform to continuously monitor the driver's pulse and send emergency notifications if abnormalities were detected, such as high or low blood pressure. The system aimed to help maintain vehicle health and monitor driver safety.
