This document presents a study on the temperature distribution in crystalline photovoltaic modules using a 3D finite element method within the COMSOL Multiphysics environment. It examines the effects of different encapsulating materials, such as ethylene-vinyl acetate (EVA) and silicone, on solar cell temperature and outlines the impact of various physical parameters on module efficiency. The results indicate that increased operating temperatures adversely affect the output power of photovoltaic modules, highlighting the importance of understanding temperature dynamics in solar energy systems.
