Abstract
● In the present work, digital three-dimensional red blood cell
models are developed to illustrate the learning content by visual-
izing models that are invisible to the human eye. Using one of
the leading advanced technologies in 3D graphic design –
Blender software, the basic geometry of the models is built, a
suitable scene is created and rendered images are made. For
the needs of the scene the resources of Pixabay are used, and
for the final images the filters and processing tools of the Fast-
Stone Image Viewer software are applied.
3
Research purposes
1. Optimization of the designing process in Blender 3D software. Cre-
ating a Tutorial for developing digital red blood cell models.
● Recommendations for manual design work. Obtaining three-dimen-
sional geometry of the developed models;
● Using particle system;
● Application of modifiers;
● Opportunities for visualization (images and animation).
2. Using Pixabay's public resources to build an environment (scene).
3. Creating final images via software Fast Stone Image Viewer.

About Red Blood Cells
● Red blood cells, also known as RBCs, red cells,[1] red blood corpuscles, haematids,
erythroid cells or erythrocytes (from Greek erythros for "red" and kytos for "hollow
vessel", with -cyte translated as "cell" in modern usage), are the most common type
of blood cell and the vertebrate's principal means of delivering oxygen (O2) to the
body tissues—via blood flow through the circulatory system.[2] RBCs take up oxygen
in the lungs, or gills of fish, and release it into tissues while squeezing through the
body's capillaries.

About
● Blender is the free and open source 3D creation suite. It supports the entirety of the
3D pipeline—modeling, rigging, animation, simulation, rendering, compositing and
motion tracking, even video editing and game creation. Advanced users employ
Blender’s API for Python scripting to customize the application and write specialized
tools; often these are included in Blender’s future releases. Blender is well suited to
individuals and small studios who benefit from its unified pipeline and responsive
development process. Examples from many Blender-based projects are available in
the showcase.
● Blender is cross-platform and runs equally well on Linux, Windows, and Macintosh
computers. Its interface uses OpenGL to provide a consistent experience. To confirm
specific compatibility, the list of supported platforms indicates those regularly tested
by the development team.
● As a community-driven project under the GNU General Public License (GPL), the
public is empowered to make small and large changes to the code base, which leads
to new features, responsive bug fixes, and better usability. Blender has no price tag,
but you can invest, participate, and help to advance a powerful collaborative tool: .

IV. Conclusion
● In this study, a 3D model of a red blood cell is fully developed.
With particles system in Blender, the 3D model is multiplied to
create a scene needed to visualize images. Also the ready
models can be used for animations and 3D printing (of real
samples). The results are applicable both in the educational
process and in scientific projects, where the study of biological
tissues, cells, atoms, compounds and others is set by assign-
ment. The present work is also useful with regard to its technical
part, where in sequence are shown details of the construction of
the 3D geometry.

  • 53. 53 IV. Conclusion ● In this study, a 3D model of a red blood cell is fully developed. With particles system in Blender, the 3D model is multiplied to create a scene needed to visualize images. Also the ready models can be used for animations and 3D printing (of real samples). The results are applicable both in the educational process and in scientific projects, where the study of biological tissues, cells, atoms, compounds and others is set by assign- ment. The present work is also useful with regard to its technical part, where in sequence are shown details of the construction of the 3D geometry.
