- 3. Definition: 1. Netiquette is the code of acceptable behaviours users should follow while on the Internet 2. Is the term for politeness when using the Internet. 3. Netiquette, or net etiquette, refers to etiquette on the Internet. οΌ Good netiquette involves respecting others' privacy and not doing anything online that will annoy or frustrate other people. 4.
