The 5 Dollar Data Project explores how much data can be acquired for $5 using Amazon Mechanical Turk, a service that allows people to outsource small tasks to human workers for pay. Common tasks include image tagging to help train AI or searching the web to provide a human perspective. Requesters can create HITs (Human Intelligence Tasks) by defining the question, instructions, answer format, number of responses, and completion timeframe.
