Search Work Assignments
        • 2.5 points per assignment (10 assigs.= 25 points)
              – Incomplete assignments do not obtain full points
              – Follow all instructions to obtain full points
              – Process is most important for assessment, answers
                alone are incomplete, e.g., illustrate and provide
                evidence with annotated images:
                    • How did you find the item and the information?
                    • What specific steps did you take to locate it?
                    • What specific terms did you look-up?
                    • Which volumes of a large set did you consult?
                    • Etc., making explicit the details of discovery

                    Search Work Assignments

     20% Following all instructions
     20% Completing all assigned queries
     40% Thoroughness of illustrating and reporting
      search strategy process, search term selection,
      item selection and citation
     20% Evidence of concept analysis
    100% = 25 points for 10 assignments (2.5 points
      per assignment of 3-8 queries)

Capturing Screen Images, Marking and
      Annotating Google Docs Using Jing
     a. Obtain your free Jing account and login
     b. Get some search results on your screen [or open a
        photo or image on your computer].
     c. Use Jing to capture a portion of the screen [or photo]
     d. Mark it using the Jing Editor functions
     e. Save the image to a file in PNG or JPEG format or get
        an image from: http://www.public-domain-image.com/
     f. Go to Drive, Open a Google Document, click in the doc
        where you want the image to appear
     g. Insert Picture, select the image on the computer,
        insert, then size image to fit page
