Catfishing Research Paper
Meta: Learn if the person you ve been talking to on social media is really who they claim to be. Don t
let yourself be duped by catfishing. Hire an investigator to help.
Article:
It might be surprising to learn that inmates in prison are allowed to email and text with others on
platforms like Facebook, Twitter and through email providers that service the prison system. There are
more and more people meeting online and making a connection, which leaves people ripe for being
deceived by people who are misrepresenting themselves.
Catfishing: What is It?

Catfishers Commit Fraud
Investigators can use a variety of equipment to search for someone online, find out if they re in prison,
learn where they live and if they re married or put them under surveillance. If the catfisher has
committed fraud or identity theft, the private investigator can turn that information over to the police
who will conduct their own investigation that can lead to the person being arrested.
The investigator will use a variety of tools to learn all the information they can about the fraudster
including monitoring systems and in person surveillance using spy glasses or spy cams. The lengths
that the investigators goes to will depend on the client s desires.
It s unfortunate when a person believes they re meeting someone online and feels an incredible
connection with them only to find out that they re lying. It s better to know the truth than to be
deceived. A private investigator can find out more about the person you re talking to online if you

Young Earth Scientists
How does current science support each of the Biblical views of Young Earth Scientists(YEC), and Old
Earth Scientists(OEC)? This is a question that is disputed among many scientists. Although both
groups believe that the Bible is the word of God, they both interpret it differently. For example Young
Earth Creationists believe that the earth was literally created in one week. Old Earth Creationists
believe, however, that days did not refer to 24 hours, but referred to longer periods of time. It is
important for people to understand the differences and similarities between the beliefs of Young Earth
Creationists and Old Earth Creationists, so that they can determine which view is supported by
science.
Although these two views differ greatly in some ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The main difference in belief is of the age of the universe. Both groups use many difference
exclamations to support their side of this issue. Ice cores have been used to try to determine the age of
ice sheets in Greenland, and Antarctica. This works the same way as counting tree rings. However, it
is not as simple. There is still controversy on the outcome of this method. 110,000 layers have been
counted in the Antarctic sheet and have been claimed by some that these are annual layers. If this were
true, then that would suggest that the ice sheet is 110,000 years old. But these layers have been shown
not to be annual. Recently two B 17 Flying Fortresses and six P 38 Lightning fighters were excavated
in Antartica. Nearly 50 years after they went down, the planes had been covered in 250 feet of ice.
Hundreds of rings were noticed during the excavation. Since hundreds of rings were produced in less
than 50 years, this shows that the rings do not indicate years. The excavation showed the rate of
accumulation to be 5.5 feet per year. The deepest core dug is was about 10,000 feet deep. After
considering compression, 4,400 years is enough time to produce that much ice(Ice Core Dating
Segment). This shows that the Young Earth Creationist time frame can fit in ice

In his view, the entrepreneur is a revolutionary innovator that requires aptitudes that are present only
in a small fraction of the population (Schumpeter, 1946, p.132). These aptitudes include; a strong
intellectual capacity, drive and determination, creativity, and leadership skills (Schumpeter, 1934).
Schumpeter (1934, p.74) states that the carrying out of new combinations we call enterprise ; the
individuals whose function it is to carry them out we call entrepreneurs . Simply put, Schumpeter
views entrepreneurs as innovators; however, it is important to note that Schumpeter (1934, p.88) only
views those that commercially exploit their creations as innovators, declaring as long as they
[inventions] are not carried into practice, inventions are economically irrelevant. For Schumpeter, it is
the commercial exploitation of these new inventions, created by the innovators that he refers to as
entrepreneurs, which drive economic development (Fig.2). This is because, in the process of
exploiting this new creation, be it an invention or new production method, the entrepreneur breaks the
economy out of its static equilibrium, disturbing what

Greek Gods And Myths
Now we all know that God exists, but how accurate are the bible stories that describe God compared
to that of the Greek ones and their Gods. In other words, how does Christianity compare to stories,
fables, and myths? DISCLAIMER Before I do anything I just want you to know that I wrote up a ten
page paper but I shortened it down destroying all evidence of other gods or religious figures not based
on Christianity. So please excuse me if I sound like an atheist. For one thing, God and the Greek gods
are quite similar in how to act. For instance, God has wisdom just like Athena that they both used in
battle, times of diplomacy and to empower the people of earth. God rules over all just like Zeus and
promised righteous judgment to all who did not sacrifice towards him. However, our God also has

through life.
Now we all know that God exists, but how accurate are the bible stories that describe God compared
to that of the Greek ones and their Gods. In other words, how does Christianity compare to stories,
fables, and myths? First I feel that it be best for me to take a step back to describe God in the clearest
way possible. One of God s many traits is that of his immaculate wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to
devise perfect ends and to achieve these ends by the most faultless means. In other words, God makes
no mistakes. He is the Father who truly knows best, as Paul explains in Romans 11:33: Oh, how great
are God s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions
and His ways! So how do the other Greek gods with wisdom stack up against God?
For one they are already short stacked because none of them have perfect wisdom and although they
do have wisdom it is not the immaculate wisdom that God has. For instance, Athena may have
wisdom, but she can still be bested. If I was to speak in a down to earth way it would mean

The Russian Avant Garde and the Bolshevik Revolution Essay
The Russian Avant Garde and the Bolshevik Revolution
The Russian Avant Garde began in Russia in about 1915 It was the year that Malevich revealed his
Suprematist compositions that reduced painting to total abstraction. and rid the pictures of any
reference whatsoever to the visual world. He is credited with being the first artist to do this; that is,
forsake the visual world for a world of pure feeling and sensation. This was the first movement
originated by Russians and the birth of several other Avant Garde movements. Probably the most
popular piece at his 1915 exhibition was BLACK SQUARE (real name suprematist composition . It s

There had been a smaller Capitalist revolution in February that year but the October Revolution
completely usurped it. After the October Revolution both Tatlin and Malevich opened up art schools.
Malevich s Suprematist school was similar in style but not ideology to the De Stijl movement in
Holland, while the Constructivist school of Tatlin s had links to the German Bauhaus. The October
revolution had been a primarily proletariat revolution and proletarians have proven to be somewhat
negative in their attitude to new, radical confronting art styles and this was no exception. Both schools
realised they had to prove their worth, so to speak. The new communist government saw artists as
elite. A few things transpired to change the soviet government s ideas about these artists.
Rodchenko was proud of the fact that the leftist artists had been the first to come to work with the
Bolshevik comrades. There was a Constructivist manifesto released in 1922,( when Constructivism
had reached its Zenith and had started ever so slowly to decline,) stating that the movement as a whole
was trying to build the intellectual material production of Communist culture . The general mood
among the Avant Garde was one of completely embracing the Bolshevik ideal. Perhaps this is why
they were given so much freedom. From all accounts, the leftist artists felt very supported by the
government.

Application Of A Temperature Controller
CHAPTER 2
LITERATURE REVIEW
Background
A temperature controller is an indispensable component when processing transmission in optical fiber
in order to acquire accurate results. The optical IC should be operated in a stable environment,
including temperature, fixed construction and no other external interference. Thus, providing a
constant temperature and steady working environment is priority task for the temperature controller.
The controller mentioned in this thesis is required to realize several functions: maintain the metal
which directly connected to the photonic IC chip at 25°c, and keep this temperature for long hours.
Although this controller is designed for lab use, there are no any power shortage issues for
temperature controller, however due to sustainability, the power supply is expected to be natural
resources.
Further researching is needed on several components to develop the temperature controller and that
will be discussed in the next section. The correct cooler system, microcontroller and LCD are the
major components that need to be selected according to design constraints. The final project will be
low cost and auto tuning which is an automated process based on the temperature gap. This controller
needs to respond quickly in a short time when temperature is transmitting. Temperature Sensor for

Personal Identity And Values
My family, church, and country are the three communities that have formed my understanding of the
world and have helped shape my identity and values.
My maternal grandparents established my knowledge of the family. They demonstrated the
importance of having a close family unit. They cultivated this with constant communication and
setting specific days for family gatherings. They also imparted the importance of using your family as
a support system; their motto was, we are family, we carry one another. My family bestowed this
value by helping each other in times of difficulty, for example, if there was a death in the household
some family members helped financially, while others helped with preparing meals and others helped
organize the funeral. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
My church taught me the importance of learning Gods word and applying the teachings to my life.
Some of these teachings include: having faith in God, forgiving others as God has forgiven me and the
importance of perseverance. This community has also shaped my view of serving the congregation
and the local community. I see community service as a means of demonstrating Gods love to people
by providing food for the poor or comforting those who are discouraged or alone. This community has
also influenced my view of marriage. I value marriage between a man and women. I also appreciate
and practice the biblical view of God not creating the wife to be a sub servant to the husband, but He
created her to be the spouse s partner, walking beside him and supporting each other through the walk
of life.
While people have significantly shaped me, the country I live in has shaped my value of higher
education. Higher education has allowed me to gain new knowledge in different areas of specialty and
this has opened doors to employment opportunities that have provided financial stability and the
chance to overcome poverty. The pursuit of higher education is a value that I impart with the youth of
the community where I fellowship with the hope that they too may develop a value for higher

Heroin: History, Societal Impact and Next Steps
Heroin is processed from the poppy plant. The Opium poppy had been cultivated and marketed for
thousands of years. It was used first in religious ceremonies and for early medicinal purposes but at
that time it was not synthesized as heroin. Heroin was originally produced in a chemist lab back in
1874 by C. R. Alder Wright.1 At that time the production of heroin was in response to the demand for
the need of a non addictive pain killer. The substance was produced but sat dormant for a number of
years. It was not until several years later that heroin was marketed by the German company, Bayer. An

The Ancient Egyptian Style Of Ancient Egypt
FNAR 200
Professor Heer
23 November 2015
KING NARMERS PALETTE The civilization of Ancient Egypt thrived from approximately 3100 bce
until 30 bce, when the Roman Empire took control of the province. Unlike other ancient societies,
however, where art would evolve and chance with new influences, the art of Ancient Egypt tends to
look extremely similar for the entirety of those 300 years. The classical Egyptian style of art begins in
the first dynasty, which is often considered to be ruled under King Narmer. The Narmer Palette (Fig.
1) is one of the most influential pieces of ancient Egyptian art for this very reason, as it portrays the
joining of Upper and Lower Egypt into one solid empire that would continue to thrive for years to
come at the fault of King Narmer. Unlike the art of prehistoric Egypt, dynastic art tends to focus on
kingship and portraying the king as the sole ruler and most important figure in the civilization.
Because of the powerful themes on both sides of the palette, the Narmer Palette has emerged as one of
the most crucial pieces of artwork from early Egypt as it represents the joining of the prehistoric past
of the civilization and the pharaonic dynasty that was beginning to emerge. King Narmer is considered
by historians to be the first pharaoh of unified Egypt. It is suggested that during his rule, he was
responsible for uniting the former Upper and Lower Egypt to form one strong central Egypt, of which
he became king. His kingship initiated the

Significance and Impact of the Emancipation Proclamation
Abraham Lincoln once said, A house divided against itself cannot stand. I believe this government
cannot endure permanently half slave and half free. I do not expect the Union to be dissolved I do not
expect the house to fall but I do expect it will cease to be divided. It will become all one thing or all
the other. (Lincoln s House Divided Speech in Springfield, Illinois, June 16, 1858). The critical issue
of slavery throughout the 19th century in America, was a heavily debated topic. Due to this
disagreement of the bondage of slaves, America was split into two distinct entities, the Union and the
Confederacy. Both of these bodies of states struggled over the idea of slavery, and whether or not it
should be enforced, but both for different reasons. In the North, or the Union States, slavery was
looked down upon being morally wrong, while on the other hand, the Southerners, or the Confederate
States, believed the exact opposite. In the year of 1863, the issue of slavery would start to diminish
due to a very important proclamation issued by President Abraham Lincoln. This prominent decree,
the Emancipation Proclamation, would settle the heated dispute between the Union and the
Confederacy for all years to come. Although not one slave was initially freed by the Emancipation
Proclamation in the Southern states, the deeper symbolic meaning of the manifesto

All the Pretty Horses by Cormac McCarthy
Cormac McCarthy is a man who holds few interviews. Even today, he is known as one of the world s
greatest, most prolific authors though most of his personal opinions are left unreported. In a rare
interview with a New York Times journalist, McCarthy says the philosophical words: There s no such
thing as life without bloodshed completely revealing the coveted theme of his novel, All the Pretty
Horses. Considering the amount of violence that manifests itself in the book; Blevins murder, the
prison fight, and the gunfight between John Grady and the ranch workers; all of which results from
Grady s pursuit of a peaceful life, the theme McCarthy wished to broadcast, a theme of inescapable
violence, was true in its delivery. John Grady left his home in Dallas, Texas to make a home in
Mexico. He was in pursuit of a life in which freedoms are generously given and previous negative
memories he had wouldn t exist. Along the way, Grady met a young, prideful boy known by the name
Jimmy Blevins. Initially, Grady regarded him as a nuisance but, eventually Blevins gained his
acceptance and together they crossed the Rio Grande. In Mexico, however, they were separated, and
finally reunited in a jail cell. Blevins was soon taken away and shot. After hearing the crack of the
gun, Grady ...almost reached to pull down the front of his hat brim but then he remembered that they

Exploring the Transformation of Alvar Nunez Cabeza de...
In The Narrative of Cabeza de Vaca , Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca s fight for survival, while being
deprived of the basic necessities of life, proves there is a change in him from the beginning of the
narrative to the end. This transformation, though, affected multiple aspects of de Vaca, including his
motives, character, and perspective of civilization. Cabeza de Vaca s experience is crucial to the
history of America, as well as Spain, because it was one of the first accounts that revealed a certain
equilibrium between the mighty and superior Spaniard and the Indian, once the Spaniard was stripped
of his noble stature. The idea of nakedness is consistent throughout the narrative and conveys the
tribulations he experienced and a sort of ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The others also disagreed with the governor, but had different opinions of what the next step should
be. The governor s ignorance of their advice led the expedition to move inland from where they were,
and further toward the dangers and misfortunes that laid ahead.
This decision of the governor was the turning point of the conquest, yet Cabeza de Vaca does not
know it yet. Cabeza de Vaca s suggestion to aboard the ships and look for better land elsewhere
probably would have been a valid proposition looking back on it. The Spaniards would have avoided
the rough estate and swampy grounds that caused them experience physical weaknesses that they were
not accustomed to. Cabeza de Vaca, although he guessed it before they went inland, quickly realized
that after a few days of traveling across the uneasy country this was going to be a struggle. Guided by
Indians, the Spaniards moved north in search of a settlement called Apachale, where they were told
they find all of the gold and abundance of food they needed. After a difficult journey through a thick
forest, they arrived at Apalache, where we wished to be and where we had been assured so much food
and gold would be had made us forget many of our hardships and our weariness (de Vaca, 16).
At this point Cabeza de Vaca is

The Point Of The Gravedigger s Riddles And Songs In Hamlet...
Now, finish reading Act 5 and answer the following questions in a blog post. These questions will be
checked for completion and understanding. Act Five Scene One What is the point of the gravedigger s
riddles and songs? The point of the gravedigger s riddles and songs is to take the audience away from
the tension and darkness caused by certain events, like the deaths of Ophelia and Polonius and bring
some comic relief. I believe Shakespeare includes the gravedigger s riddles and songs to calm the
readers a bit before heading to the tragic and dramatic ending. The gravedigger sings, In youth when I

The dramatic importance of Ophelia s funeral is that this is where Hamlet finally reveals his love for
Ophelia. Hamlet says, I loved Ophelia. Forty thousand brothers/Could not with all their quantity of
love/Make up my sum. What wilt thou do for her? (5.1.247 249). This is dramatic because, throughout
the whole play, this was the only scene where he confesses that he loves Ophelia. In most of the play,
he was mistreating and rude to Ophelia. Scene Two Explain the effect of dramatic irony in this scene.
The effect of dramatic irony in this scene is that Laertes and Claudius have planned to kill Hamlet.
They planned to use a poisoned sword to kill Hamlet, but in case that fails Claudius had a few other
plans to kill Hamlet. Claudius had planned to kill Hamlet with a poisoned drink. But in that scene,
Hamlet does not drink it, he refuses to drink it, so Gertrude drinks the drink. Claudius tries to warn
Gertrude and says, Gertrude, do not drink. / I will, my lord. I pray you, pardon me. / It is the poisoned
cup. It is too late. (5.2.285.287). This is dramatic irony because the audience knows that the drink is
poisoned except for Hamlet and Gertrude, so when Gertrude is about to drink it, the audience is aware
and suspicious about what will happen next. How do Hamlet s motives in killing Claudius seem to
have shifted according to his speech beginning, Does it not think thee... ? Hamlet s motives in killing
Claudius seem to have shifted according to his speech beginning.

The Internal Revenue Service ( Irs )
The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is part of the Department of the United States Treasury. It is one
of the most efficient tax administrators in the world. During fiscal year 2012, the IRS $2.5 trillion in
revenue and processed 237 million tax returns. For every $100 it collected in fiscal year 2012, the IRS
spent a mere 48 cents. The mission of the IRS is to provide U.S. taxpayers a top quality service by
helping them pay their taxes, enforce the laws regarding taxes, and assist taxpayers with
understanding their taxes. The IRS values integrity and fairness for all taxpayers. In the U.S.,
Congress passes tax laws and taxpayers are required to comply. The taxpayer s role is to understand
his/her tax obligations and meet them. The IRS role is to help taxpayers be compliant and pursue those
who do not pay their fair share.
The Internal Revenue Code, section 7801, organizes the IRS to carry out the responsibilities of the
secretary of the Treasury. The secretary is granted full authority to administer and enforce the tax laws
and has the power to create the agency (IRS) to enforce those laws. In 1862, President Lincoln and
Congress created an income tax to pay war expenses and the position of commissioner of Internal
Revenue was created. Ten years later, the income tax was repealed. Congress reenacted the tax in 1894
and the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional in 1895. It wasn t until 1913, when Wyoming ratified
the 16th Amendment (giving Congress the

The Iran Hostage Crisis
The Iran Hostage Crisis changed the political connections between the United States and Iran for
several years to come. The Iran Hostage Crisis became a symbol of America s global power and
influence On November 4, 1979, Iranian students stormed the US embassy in Tehran, Iran, and took
sixty three Americans hostage. The students agreed that the hostages would not be released until the
Shah returned to Iran to stand trial for the crimes committed against the Iranian people. (Bechtel).
Despite the Shah s treatment of the Iranian people, the President Carted allowed the Shah into the
United States to receive medical treatment. Although President Carter made attempts to negotiate the
hostages released, he failed several times. Because of his failures he was viewed inept and ineffective
in regards to the crisis. The hostages were released on January 20, 1981, the day that President Ronald
Reagan was sworn into office. This paper will discuss the main reason why the hostages were taken,
and why they were not released sooner.
Back in 1950, when Mossadegh was Prime Minister of Iran, he nationalized Iran s oil industry,
reducing the European influence throughout the nation over the oil commodity. This sparked great fear
throughout the United States; they feared the communists would turn the Iran democracy against
them. After three years in exile, in 1953 Shah Mohammed

Analysis Of Mr. Bailey s Investment Portfolio
Introduction
The purpose of this final finance paper is to provide an analysis of Mr. Bailey s investment portfolio. I
will be discussing the investment risks and returns, diversification, and recommendations for his
current portfolio. This will be a detailed analysis based on his stocks, investment property, and
potential for expanding and/or modifying his portfolio. In addition, there will be sources provided to
support the analysis followed by a spirited and succinct supposition which recapitulates his existing
portfolio and any commendations to be made.
Investment Risks and Returns
From an initial evaluation, Mr. Bailey s investment portfolio appears to be in good standing. He has
five stock assets and in investment property which ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Regarding his previous case from module 6 with the stock portfolio returns, here is the chart: And the
chart as shown below (Heksagonas., 2013) using a simple portfolio calculator: The differences in risks
and total returns is evident from the charts above. Microsoft and Johnson Johnson, show the most
consistency with a return percentage, while Nike is high risk, high return, and Chipotle and Exxon
Mobil are low risk and low return types of stocks. Next, I will evaluate Mr. Bailey s diversification
analysis and potential for improvement.
Diversification
Mr. Bailey s investments appear to be exclusively domestic assets. With a wide variety of stocks
internationally available, he should consider expanding his portfolio based on the diversification
potential accessible to him. With the amount of monetary assets within the corporate bond market,
which is estimated to be around $7.5 trillion, there is plenty of return potential available for individual
U.S. investors. The study from the article, Portfolio Diversification and International Corporate Bonds
by Edith X. Liu, implies the minimal amount of invested assets U.S. investors have in the corporate
bond market. With the statistical evidence of over 80% risk reduction in this market, which were
observed exclusively during the crisis period, the return potential is obtainable for Mr. Bailey (Liu, E.
X., 2016, pp. 959 983).

like Liberty University find ways to be exempt from this bill. This leads to the questions Should all
public colleges comply with Title IX? Is accepting LGBT students just a means to increase campus
diversity statics? Why do colleges punish LGBT students for showing sexuality on campuses? In this
paper I will analyze weather all colleges private and public should comply with Title IX, if sexual
orientation has to do with admission process, and weather campuses lie about being accepting of the
LGBT community. Liberty University has donated over $60,000 to end Title IX. Many senators Have
come out with support to the LGBT community where others have classified them as Sinful

Abstract:
In order to cope up with the growing problem of traffic congestion several means and methods have
been implemented. For reducing this problem,an efficient method for traffic monitoring can be
implemented by providing the availability of the parking spaces in advance. Since there exist no such
system we intend to develop one using sensors and RFIDs.In proposed system, we consider car park
equipped with sensors(IR) which checks for the availability of parking slots and updates the
information periodically. This updated information is provided to the user via an android application.
Using this application user gets directed towards the parking slot by using the shortest path
algorithm(Dijikstra s). Also to avoid traffic congestion due to parking charges, car is associated with a
unique RFID tag for the wallet parking.

It s Not That Many People
It s not that many people... right? I asked myself. Even the idea of taking a group of 19 people of
varying ages and abilities on a ski trip was madness. But for me it was becoming reality (again!).
We had tried this before in 2012 and a great time was had by all. I had particularly enjoyed that trip, as
being an only child, I am usually on holiday alone with my parents, so to have the chance to ski with a
group my age filled me with excitement and anticipation of fun times! I was ready for action.
Initially, the Donaldson clan booked an apartment in La Tuille. An open invitation was issued for
anyone who was interested, and one by one families started to book. At first my Mum was a little
apprehensive about the accommodation, and her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
A few days into the week, it was time for moustache day. Armed with eyeliner, we went around our
group drawing on moustaches. Watching people s reactions to our wonderful, fashion statements
caused us, and them, to laugh. There were lots of stares and double takes. My mum was convinced
people were staring at her because of her amazingly skiing. We had to break it to her it was probably
because she had a Hercule Poirot moustache. We all giggled and teased each other for most of the day.
The next day order was restored, except for the giraffe and tiger spotted roaming the hills: it was
onesie day! Frasier wore his tiger outfit, and I wore my giraffe one. It definitely made a great picture!
It was such fun skiing in a costume. To start with, it was a bit embarrassing, but after about half an
hour of skiing, I realised that people weren t laughing at me, but with me. Hearing the comment from
one stranger that I had made his day , made my day!
The last night came too quickly and all 19 of us decided to have a huge family dinner. We picked the
biggest apartment. We ordered pizza, lasagne, and 3 large tarts. We decided to try and bring our table
from our apartment, so that we could all sit around a big table, but after 10 attempts of trying to
manoeuvre the huge table, that had clearly been built inside the apartment, through the tiny door of
our apartment, we gave up and tried Plan B . This was to try and dismantle the table, by

Stereotyping Ethnic Characters
According to Micheal Omi, Film and television have been notorious in disseminating images of racial
minorities which establish for audiences what these groups look like, how they behave, and, in
essence, who they are (541). Micheal Omi is the author of In Living Color: Race and American
Culture , who depicts that many people are assuming the exclusion is over in United States, however,
she argues that racism is continuing to modern society through the mass media that creates of the
popular culture, and it brings many social problems on stereotyping ethnic characters. Jessica
Haredorn, author of Asian Women in Film: No Joy, No Luck , also describes that how the Asian
women are stereotyping in Hollywood, If we are good, we are childlike, submissive, silent, and eager
for sex... or else we are tragic victim types... And if we are not silent, suffering doormats, we are
demonized dragon ladies cunning, deceitful, sexual provocateurs (344). As they discuss about,
Hollywood writers and directors have a social responsibility to avoid stereotyping ethnic characters
because the mess media can give negative effects in the modern society, such as increasing conflict
between different the racial groups, developing of the stereotyping ethnic characters, and immunizing
from the ethnic stereotype.
United states have the most various ethnic group population, and the conflict between different racial

Outline For Presuppositional Apologetics
The first purpose which the author mentioned was the need for a biblical approach to Apologetics.
John Frame s first purposes were stated, A biblical apologetic targets unbelief wherever it may be
found, strengthening the faith of Christians and calling unbelievers to repentance and faith in Christ. 1
Frame began with a brief biblical definition and outline for Presuppositional Apologetics. First he
referenced the biblical basis of Apologetics, I Peter 3:15 16, and then outlined, 1. Apologetics as
proof: 2 Followed by 2. Apologetics as defense: 3 And then 3. Apologetics as offense: 4 Frame
demonstrated a clear way of understanding as he outlined and in effect taught the basics of
Presuppositional Apologetics. Frame touches ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In particular Frame has done a masterful job of laying out the framework (no pun intended) of the
Apologetic apparatus, and explaining the many parts and pieces to this way of looking at Scripture and
arguing for the faith. One aspect of this body of study seems to this writer to be unessential to
Apologetics which Frame inserts into his explanation of Apologetics which is predestination. Frame
stated, The doctrine that God foreordains and directs all events is generally regarded as Calvinistic,
and I am not embarrassed to be called a Calvinist. 8 Frame goes on to discuss Arminianism. The
question to ask is can the study of Apologetics stand on its own without inserting Calvinism into it?
This writer believes so. Good men of course can disagree, and should be able to remain amicable with
one another, especially in higher Christian

This is a question that is disputed among many scientists. Although both groups believe that the Bible is the word of God, they both interpret it differently. Old Earth Creationists believe, however, that days did not refer to 24 hours, but referred to longer periods of time. Both groups use many difference exclamations to support their side of this issue. Ice cores have been used to try to determine the age of ice sheets in Greenland, and Antarctica. This works the same way as counting tree rings. However, it is not as simple. There is still controversy on the outcome of this method. 110,000 layers have been counted in the Antarctic sheet and have been claimed by some that these are annual layers. If this were true, then that would suggest that the ice sheet is 110,000 years old. But these layers have been shown not to be annual. Recently two B 17 Flying Fortresses and six P 38 Lightning fighters were excavated in Antartica. Nearly 50 years after they went down, the planes had been covered in 250 feet of ice. Hundreds of rings were noticed during the excavation. Since hundreds of rings were produced in less than 50 years, this shows that the rings do not indicate years. The excavation showed the rate of accumulation to be 5.5 feet per year. The deepest core dug is was about 10,000 feet deep. After considering compression, 4,400 years is enough time to produce that much ice(Ice Core Dating Segment). This shows that the Young Earth Creationist time frame can fit in ice ... Schumpeter (1934, p.74) states that the carrying out of new combinations we call enterprise ; the individuals whose function it is to carry them out we call entrepreneurs . Simply put, Schumpeter views entrepreneurs as innovators; however, it is important to note that Schumpeter (1934, p.88) only views those that commercially exploit their creations as innovators, declaring as long as they [inventions] are not carried into practice, inventions are economically irrelevant. For Schumpeter, it is the commercial exploitation of these new inventions, created by the innovators that he refers to as entrepreneurs, which drive economic development (Fig.2). DISCLAIMER Before I do anything I just want you to know that I wrote up a ten page paper but I shortened it down destroying all evidence of other gods or religious figures not based on Christianity. So please excuse me if I sound like an atheist. For one thing, God and the Greek gods are quite similar in how to act. Now we all know that God exists, but how accurate are the bible stories that describe God compared to that of the Greek ones and their Gods. In other words, how does Christianity compare to stories, fables, and myths? First I feel that it be best for me to take a step back to describe God in the clearest way possible. One of God s many traits is that of his immaculate wisdom. Wisdom is the ability to devise perfect ends and to achieve these ends by the most faultless means. In other words, God makes no mistakes. He is the Father who truly knows best, as Paul explains in Romans 11:33: Oh, how great are God s riches and wisdom and knowledge! How impossible it is for us to understand His decisions and His ways! So how do the other Greek gods with wisdom stack up against God? For one they are already short stacked because none of them have perfect wisdom and although they do have wisdom it is not the immaculate wisdom that God has. For instance, Athena may have wisdom, but she can still be bested. If I was to speak in a down to earth way it would mean ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Malevich s Suprematist school was similar in style but not ideology to the De Stijl movement in Holland, while the Constructivist school of Tatlin s had links to the German Bauhaus. The October revolution had been a primarily proletariat revolution and proletarians have proven to be somewhat negative in their attitude to new, radical confronting art styles and this was no exception. Both schools realised they had to prove their worth, so to speak. The new communist government saw artists as elite. A few things transpired to change the soviet government s ideas about these artists. Rodchenko was proud of the fact that the leftist artists had been the first to come to work with the Bolshevik comrades. There was a Constructivist manifesto released in 1922,( when Constructivism had reached its Zenith and had started ever so slowly to decline,) stating that the movement as a whole was trying to build the intellectual material production of Communist culture . The general mood among the Avant Garde was one of completely embracing the Bolshevik ideal. Perhaps this is why they were given so much freedom. Application Of A Temperature Controller CHAPTER 2 LITERATURE REVIEW Background A temperature controller is an indispensable component when processing transmission in optical fiber in order to acquire accurate results. The optical IC should be operated in a stable environment, including temperature, fixed construction and no other external interference. Thus, providing a constant temperature and steady working environment is priority task for the temperature controller. The controller mentioned in this thesis is required to realize several functions: maintain the metal which directly connected to the photonic IC chip at 25°c, and keep this temperature for long hours. Although this controller is designed for lab use, there are no any power shortage issues for temperature controller, however due to sustainability, the power supply is expected to be natural resources. Further researching is needed on several components to develop the temperature controller and that will be discussed in the next section. The correct cooler system, microcontroller and LCD are the major components that need to be selected according to design constraints. The final project will be low cost and auto tuning which is an automated process based on the temperature gap. Unlike other ancient societies, however, where art would evolve and chance with new influences, the art of Ancient Egypt tends to look extremely similar for the entirety of those 300 years. The classical Egyptian style of art begins in the first dynasty, which is often considered to be ruled under King Narmer. The Narmer Palette (Fig. 1) is one of the most influential pieces of ancient Egyptian art for this very reason, as it portrays the joining of Upper and Lower Egypt into one solid empire that would continue to thrive for years to come at the fault of King Narmer. It will become all one thing or all the other. (Lincoln s House Divided Speech in Springfield, Illinois, June 16, 1858). The critical issue of slavery throughout the 19th century in America, was a heavily debated topic. Due to this disagreement of the bondage of slaves, America was split into two distinct entities, the Union and the Confederacy. Both of these bodies of states struggled over the idea of slavery, and whether or not it should be enforced, but both for different reasons. The Spaniards would have avoided the rough estate and swampy grounds that caused them experience physical weaknesses that they were not accustomed to. Cabeza de Vaca, although he guessed it before they went inland, quickly realized that after a few days of traveling across the uneasy country this was going to be a struggle. Guided by Indians, the Spaniards moved north in search of a settlement called Apachale, where they were told they find all of the gold and abundance of food they needed. After a difficult journey through a thick forest, they arrived at Apalache, where we wished to be and where we had been assured so much food and gold would be had made us forget many of our hardships and our weariness (de Vaca, 16). • 23. The Point Of The Gravedigger s Riddles And Songs In Hamlet... Now, finish reading Act 5 and answer the following questions in a blog post. These questions will be checked for completion and understanding. Act Five Scene One What is the point of the gravedigger s riddles and songs? The point of the gravedigger s riddles and songs is to take the audience away from the tension and darkness caused by certain events, like the deaths of Ophelia and Polonius and bring some comic relief. I believe Shakespeare includes the gravedigger s riddles and songs to calm the readers a bit before heading to the tragic and dramatic ending. The gravedigger sings, In youth when I did love, did love, / Methought it was very sweet / To contract o the time, for a my behove, / Oh, methought, there a was nothing a meet. Has ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The dramatic importance of Ophelia s funeral is that this is where Hamlet finally reveals his love for Ophelia. Hamlet says, I loved Ophelia. Forty thousand brothers/Could not with all their quantity of love/Make up my sum. What wilt thou do for her? (5.1.247 249). This is dramatic because, throughout the whole play, this was the only scene where he confesses that he loves Ophelia. In most of the play, he was mistreating and rude to Ophelia. Scene Two Explain the effect of dramatic irony in this scene. The effect of dramatic irony in this scene is that Laertes and Claudius have planned to kill Hamlet. They planned to use a poisoned sword to kill Hamlet, but in case that fails Claudius had a few other plans to kill Hamlet. Claudius had planned to kill Hamlet with a poisoned drink. But in that scene, Hamlet does not drink it, he refuses to drink it, so Gertrude drinks the drink. Claudius tries to warn Gertrude and says, Gertrude, do not drink. / I will, my lord. I pray you, pardon me. / It is the poisoned cup. It is too late. (5.2.285.287). This is dramatic irony because the audience knows that the drink is poisoned except for Hamlet and Gertrude, so when Gertrude is about to drink it, the audience is aware and suspicious about what will happen next. How do Hamlet s motives in killing Claudius seem to have shifted according to his speech beginning, Does it not think thee... ? • 24. The Internal Revenue Service ( Irs ) The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) is part of the Department of the United States Treasury. It is one of the most efficient tax administrators in the world. During fiscal year 2012, the IRS $2.5 trillion in revenue and processed 237 million tax returns. For every $100 it collected in fiscal year 2012, the IRS spent a mere 48 cents. The mission of the IRS is to provide U.S. taxpayers a top quality service by helping them pay their taxes, enforce the laws regarding taxes, and assist taxpayers with understanding their taxes. The IRS values integrity and fairness for all taxpayers. In the U.S., Congress passes tax laws and taxpayers are required to comply. The taxpayer s role is to understand his/her tax obligations and meet them. The IRS role is to help taxpayers be compliant and pursue those who do not pay their fair share. The Internal Revenue Code, section 7801, organizes the IRS to carry out the responsibilities of the secretary of the Treasury. The secretary is granted full authority to administer and enforce the tax laws and has the power to create the agency (IRS) to enforce those laws. In 1862, President Lincoln and Congress created an income tax to pay war expenses and the position of commissioner of Internal Revenue was created. Ten years later, the income tax was repealed. Congress reenacted the tax in 1894 and the Supreme Court ruled it unconstitutional in 1895. It wasn t until 1913, when Wyoming ratified the 16th Amendment (giving Congress the ... • 25. The Iran Hostage Crisis Changed The Political Connections... Kristal Cannici Dr. Lammers The West and the World: 1945 Present 20 November 2016 The Iran Hostage Crisis The Iran Hostage Crisis changed the political connections between the United States and Iran for several years to come. The Iran Hostage Crisis became a symbol of America s global power and influence On November 4, 1979, Iranian students stormed the US embassy in Tehran, Iran, and took sixty three Americans hostage. The students agreed that the hostages would not be released until the Shah returned to Iran to stand trial for the crimes committed against the Iranian people. (Bechtel). Despite the Shah s treatment of the Iranian people, the President Carted allowed the Shah into the United States to receive medical treatment. Although President Carter made attempts to negotiate the hostages released, he failed several times. Because of his failures he was viewed inept and ineffective in regards to the crisis. The hostages were released on January 20, 1981, the day that President Ronald Reagan was sworn into office. This paper will discuss the main reason why the hostages were taken, and why they were not released sooner. Back in 1950, when Mossadegh was Prime Minister of Iran, he nationalized Iran s oil industry, reducing the European influence throughout the nation over the oil commodity. This sparked great fear throughout the United States; they feared the communists would turn the Iran democracy against them. After three years in exile, in 1953 Shah Mohammed ... With a wide variety of stocks internationally available, he should consider expanding his portfolio based on the diversification potential accessible to him. With the amount of monetary assets within the corporate bond market, which is estimated to be around $7.5 trillion, there is plenty of return potential available for individual U.S. investors. The study from the article, Portfolio Diversification and International Corporate Bonds by Edith X. Liu, implies the minimal amount of invested assets U.S. investors have in the corporate bond market. With the statistical evidence of over 80% risk reduction in this market, which were observed exclusively during the crisis period, the return potential is obtainable for Mr. Bailey (Liu, E. • 29. It s Not That Many People It s not that many people... right? I asked myself. Even the idea of taking a group of 19 people of varying ages and abilities on a ski trip was madness. But for me it was becoming reality (again!). We had tried this before in 2012 and a great time was had by all. I had particularly enjoyed that trip, as being an only child, I am usually on holiday alone with my parents, so to have the chance to ski with a group my age filled me with excitement and anticipation of fun times! I was ready for action. Initially, the Donaldson clan booked an apartment in La Tuille. An open invitation was issued for anyone who was interested, and one by one families started to book. At first my Mum was a little apprehensive about the accommodation, and her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... A few days into the week, it was time for moustache day. We had to break it to her it was probably because she had a Hercule Poirot moustache. We all giggled and teased each other for most of the day. The next day order was restored, except for the giraffe and tiger spotted roaming the hills: it was onesie day! Frasier wore his tiger outfit, and I wore my giraffe one. It definitely made a great picture! It was such fun skiing in a costume. To start with, it was a bit embarrassing, but after about half an hour of skiing, I realised that people weren t laughing at me, but with me. Hearing the comment from one stranger that I had made his day , made my day! The last night came too quickly and all 19 of us decided to have a huge family dinner. We picked the biggest apartment. We ordered pizza, lasagne, and 3 large tarts. We decided to try and bring our table from our apartment, so that we could all sit around a big table, but after 10 attempts of trying to manoeuvre the huge table, that had clearly been built inside the apartment, through the tiny door of our apartment, we gave up and tried Plan B . John Frame s first purposes were stated, A biblical apologetic targets unbelief wherever it may be found, strengthening the faith of Christians and calling unbelievers to repentance and faith in Christ. 1 Frame began with a brief biblical definition and outline for Presuppositional Apologetics. First he referenced the biblical basis of Apologetics, I Peter 3:15 16, and then outlined, 1. Apologetics as proof: 2 Followed by 2. Apologetics as defense: 3 And then 3. Frame stated, The doctrine that God foreordains and directs all events is generally regarded as Calvinistic, and I am not embarrassed to be called a Calvinist. 8 Frame goes on to discuss Arminianism.
