This document provides instruction on writing learning objectives. It explains that learning objectives should describe what students can do after a session, not just topics covered. Well-written objectives have three parts: the performance, or behavior; the condition, or constraints; and the criterion, or standards of acceptance. An example objective is provided that meets these criteria. Non-examples that cannot be measured are also discussed.
