- 3. Company Overview Caltech Labs Inc. offers a single source of geotechnical and materials testing services to the construction and design industry through Southern California. Our vast and diverse experience enables us to handle the professional service needs of virtually any size project, within both the public and the private sectors. Caltech Labs Inc. has successfully responded to the personnel and technical demands requested, and continue to provide a level of quality assurance. Geotechnical Testing and Inspection Special Inspection and Material Testing Caltech Labs Inc.’s experienced personnel provide thorough and extensive services while adhering to critical deadlines and schedules. Our licensed/certified team has provided services for multiple projects that are over $100 Million in construction cost. Our company prides itself on providing excellent service through knowledge of current codes and regulations. We also take the time to review and understand the needs of our clients thus creating a cohesive level of communication with the client, contractor and building officials. All of our inspectors are multi-licensed including OSHPD, DSA, ICC, ACIA, ACI, and AWS. This gives us the opportunity to broaden our services to support the project with fewer personnel and save our clients time and money. We understand the importance/priority of time and cost. Caltech Labs Inc. Geotechnical and Materials Testing laboratory facilities conduct a variety of testing on soils and other building materials. Our laboratories are equipped to perform tests in accordance with the American Society of Testing and Materials (ASTM) and other applicable standards. Our philosophy is to provide timely, qualified, construction inspection and materials testing services in a cost effective manner to ensure that the project is first, being constructed in accordance with the plans, specifications, and applicable codes while at the same time contributing to the forward progress of the project schedule. 1

Caltech Labs, Inc. does not and has not gone by any other name. In addition we are not currently nor do we foresee being affected by any adverse financial conditions. There are no judgments, claims, arbitrations proceedings or suits pending or outstanding against Caltech Labs, Inc.. Likewise we have not filed any law suits or requested arbitration in regards to contracts we are committed to past and present. We have completed or are in the process of completing all projects awarded to us. Deliverables/ Electronic Reporting Caltech Labs, Inc. has used technology to streamline client communication, improve the documentation process and provide trenchancies in field staff duties and results. Caltech Labs, Inc.. staff has found a variety of technologies valuable to clients and design teams. The most beneficial has been the use of cloud computing and uploading field inspection reports along with laboratory results. Also the use of email or a FTP site can be utilized. Caltech Labs, Inc. will accommodate the project team with whatever they are most comfortable with. THE BENEFITS OF ADDING CALTECH LABS, INC. TO YOUR TEAM Caltech Labs, Inc. has a competitive advantage over other firms for the following reasons: All of our services are provided from our own facilities. We have associate laboratory locations throughout California. This can reduce the expenses incurred for inspection or shop fabrication. Caltech Labs, Inc. also has a FTP site that would be available if requested as a reference at any time to check test results, daily inspection reports, and invoicing. Caltech Labs, Inc. reputation in the industry allows us to attract a staff of highly experienced and qualified engineers, inspectors, and estimators - many with over 2 decades of experience. Caltech Labs, Inc. does not have ANY 'hidden' costs in proposals. For example, there will never be a separate charge for mileage or sample pick up. Everything that is invoiced is identified in the proposal.
