This document presents a chaotic confusion-diffusion image encryption method based on the Henon map, detailing its implementation and advantages over traditional methods. The proposed approach utilizes two levels of encryption: pixel scrambling and pixel diffusion, demonstrating promising results in terms of entropy and reduced correlation for improved image security. Experimental comparisons indicate that this new Henon map-based scheme outperforms existing logistic map techniques in terms of image detail concealment and encryption quality.
