This document presents a capstone project focused on the demand for coffee shops in Toronto, undertaken by Florian F. Mulks as part of the IBM Data Science Professional Certificate. It utilizes data science methods including machine learning and statistical analyses to predict the demand for various venue types across the city, highlighting significant demand for coffee-related venues in the Church and Wellesley area. The conclusions suggest that opening coffee shops in this neighborhood would be particularly lucrative due to a high estimated demand and insufficient current supply.
