This document discusses confidence bands for estimating linear regression means across a domain. It begins by introducing the linear regression model and ordinary least squares estimation. It then discusses how to construct confidence bands that provide simultaneous coverage of the response means across the domain. Both Bonferroni adjustments and C-scaling adjustments are considered. The coverage probabilities of the different band constructions are compared through simulations. Hypothesis testing using the bands is also explored. The consequences of model mis-specification are demonstrated through some examples.
