The paper studies various open-loop PID tuning techniques for liquid flow control processes, focusing on a single tank system. It evaluates methods including IMC, CHR, and AMIGO for their performance in real-time liquid flow control, identifying the IMC and CHR methods as offering superior results in terms of response time and stability. The findings indicate that while AMIGO showed less satisfactory performance, the overall effectiveness of the tuning methods is critical for optimal flow control in industrial applications.
