This summary report evaluates the Knowledge Exchange and Enterprise Network (KEEN) projects funded by the European Regional Development Fund and managed by the University of Wolverhampton. The research focuses on the knowledge transfer process between small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the West Midlands and regional universities, analyzing 126 projects to determine the effectiveness of different interventions and their impacts on innovation and growth. Key findings highlight the benefits of graduate affiliates working within SMEs and provide recommendations for improving collaboration and knowledge transfer in future projects.
