This document summarizes a research study that analyzed the productivity of female workers from three ethnic groups - Buginese, Makassarese, and Torajanese - working in the food and beverage small industry sector in Makassar, Indonesia. The study aimed to determine the impact of individual characteristics, demographic factors, socioeconomic characteristics, work environment, and government policy on productivity. It also examined differences in productivity between the ethnic groups. The study found that individual health, tenure, work ethic, age, wages, and work environment significantly impacted productivity, while other factors did not. It also found significant differences in productivity between the three ethnic groups.
