The document presents the Source Encrypted Authentic Data (SEAD) algorithm for securing wireless sensor networks (WSNs), particularly in military applications where data integrity and authentication are critical. SEAD combines symmetric encryption (AES) and public key cryptography (ECC) to protect data and verify authenticity while preventing malicious attacks like node and sink replication. Simulation results indicate that the proposed method enhances data integrity and node authenticity, outperforming existing algorithms.
