Hello!
Hi! My name is Cori Law! I am the new
Habilitation Supervisor at A Brighter
Avenue! I am here to assist you with
your Habilitation cases. I am currently
in my Graduate program at ASU for my
Masters in ABA/BCBA. I have a 6 year
old autistic son myself and I have
worked with SARRC for the last 4 years
doing early interventions and learning
ABA. My goal is to have all our
habilitators run effective habilitation
programs based off of ABA standards.
The new system is more paperwork but
to run truly effective interventions we
need to collect data on the progress of
our goals.
Our New Data Sheet System
• This system is being changed out on an individual basis as each clients case is reviewed.
• Access to new data sheets are on the website as well as e-mailed to each Habilitation
  provider individually
• New Goals have been individually created after receiving information and assessments
  about your clients.
• Each goal is created to help with communication, play, self-care, school, employment and
  social relationships.
• Easily updated and continually checked for progress.
• Encouraged to share data with parents and other team members.
• Created following ABA guidelines. Which means they are analytic,measureable and
  criteria based.
• Please view this presentation more than once so you can get a better understanding of our
  new system!

Daily Session
   Notes
These notes are for your
records, for parents and
team members to view!
•They should include a
general idea of how your
session went.
•Discuss mood of child,
problems, behaviors and
how the interventions are
going
•Can also list what worked
and what did not.
Goals
•Each goal is individually
created and can be adapted
for each client.
•They are very specific in
how they are to be measured
and what requirements have
to be met in order to reach
them.
•Sd= The way to present the
goal. What you should say
or do.
•R=Required Response.
•Strategies=Ideas on how to
gain responses.
Data Sheet
•This sheet is where all your
data collection will happen.
•Can be confusing at first.
•You will need one of these
sheets for every goal.
•Please note the Keys at the
bottom of the page.
•Write in the Goal, the Sd and
R for that goal. As outlined
on the Goal page.
•Circle the symbol that
matches the clients response.
•Your Graphed data is based
on this page.
Graph
•This is a simple line graph
sheet.
•The date and Goal should
always be included.
•Dots are placed above the
dates and lines are used to
connect the dots.
•This graphing sheet may be
requested to see the progress
of your goals or to help assist
you in changing the terms of
the goal.
•Please Print one Graphing
sheet for each goal
ABC Chart
This chart can be used by
anyone! Often the parents
are great at using this chart
to help problem solve
behaviors that occur in
everyday life. It is
important for us as
providers to see WHY a
child is having behavioral
issues and help us to see
what we can do differently
to change it!
Video Release
Form
• The best way for us to see
your interventions and for
us to give you tips on how to
improve intervention is to
send us a video clip!
• Helps you to see your
work!
• Can give us an idea of how
to help you!
• Please have every family
sign this form and e-mail it
back to us so we can put it in
their file.

Contingent for Speech

 •One of the best studied and
 validated behavioral treatments for
 autism.
 •Uses natural reinforcers in the
 environment that the child desires
 and holds items contingent for
 speech.
 •Great for teaching kids that their
 speech gets them what they want.
 •Uses prompts to teach them what
 to say and you hold or gain control
 of items until child says or repeats
 the prompt back to you.
