Abila MIP: Using Report Groups & Other Advanced Reporting Options

This webinar presentation discusses report groups in Abila MIP. Report groups allow users to create roll-ups of segments for use across multiple report types. The presentation demonstrates how to create report group codes, assign them to segments, and include group codes in reports for filtering and page breaks. - 7. 2018.1 Update Update on Version 2018.1 The filing deadline for 2017 W-2s, 1095s, and 1099s is right around the corner! If you are mailing W-2s or 1099s, they are due by January 31, and if you are efiling they must be submitted to Aatrix®by January 29 at 3:00 p.m. CST to guarantee timely filing. Per the IRS, the deadline to provide 1095s has been extended, and these forms must be provided to individuals by March 2.
- 8. Report Groups Why Report Groups? Create roll ups of your segments for use across multiple report types All Financial Statements General Ledger Trial Balance Flexible so you can add and subtract codes as needed Use as you would a regular segment
- 10. Create Report Group Codes Select the segment for group codes Name the Group Set You may have as many Group Codes within the Group Set as you need Recommend using numeric codes for groups to control ordering in report
- 12. Reporting with Group Codes When you open your report, look for the Groups Tab Select the segment type for your Group Select your Account Group Set
- 13. Reporting with Group Codes Include the group as a page break or column in your report on the Content Tab And / Or as a Filter on the Filter Tab
