This document discusses a study on the impact of a friendlier and caring teaching approach in helping students reduce mathematics anxiety. The study examines students from three schools in the Kinta Selatan district of Perak, Malaysia. A questionnaire was administered to students before and after teachers implemented a friendlier approach for three weeks. Results showed that when teachers greeted students with smiles, encouraged them, were patient and gave help when needed, students reported less mathematics anxiety. The friendly approach helped create stronger teacher-student bonds and relationships. Overall, the study found that a caring teaching style can help lower students' mathematics anxiety.
