Aden's Creation Story

- 3. On the first day God saw darkness everywhere so God said “Let there be light” and light appeared. He called the light day and the darkness night and that was the first day.
- 4. On the second day God created the sky to cover the earth and so God created the land to separate the sea and that was the second day.
- 5. On the third day God created all of the plants and trees of all different sorts to spread everywhere across the land and make it beautiful.
- 6. On the fourth day God made the sun the moon and the stars. He made the sun to light up the universe and keep us warm. He made the stars to shine in the night sky and the moon to light up the earth at night.
- 7. On the fifth day God created all the sea creatures big and small of all different kinds and birds of different types.
- 8. On the sixth day God created land creatures of all kinds to travel the land and multiply. God then made a man called Adam from the soil in the ground but Adam was lonely so God put Adam in a deep sleep. While Adam was asleep God took one of Adams rib bones and created a woman named Eve.
- 9. On the seventh day God looked at everything he had created. The sun, stars, moon, sky, land, animals, sea creatures, trees, plants, Adam and Eve. God looked at it and saw that it was good.

- 11. God created me in his image and likeness. This means I’m like God. God created me to care for creation but instead I’m not doing anything. I can change this in many ways like planting more trees and plants to supply us with food and oxygen. I can also pick up rubbish to prevent pollution and stop wasting energy. I could remind my mum and dad to try and drive the car less.
- 12. We should care for the people who are less fortunate than us because we are all part of Gods creation. I care for Gods creation by: I Look after my pets because it is my responsibility to feed them and give them water. I do this because all animals are part of Gods creation. I can help the poor by doing jobs to earn money to put into the poor box and starting fundraisers to donate money to the people who are less fortunate to buy clothes and food. I can look after Gods creation by planting more trees, watering plants and weeding the garden to help plants grow and help us to live. When I do this I feel good because I know I am helping creation.
- 13. We praise and thank you O Lord for the sun to warm us in summer and light up The earth. We praise and thank you O Lord for the people you have created for us to make friends with. We praise and thank you O Lord for the love you give to us and for our family’s. We praise and thank you O Lord for the wind that makes a gentle breeze. We praise and thank you O Lord for creating the earth for us to live on. We praise and thank you O Lord for the air for us to breath.
