Moodle 2 introduced rubrics for advanced grading of assignments, allowing criteria to be scored and weighted. Moodle 2.3 added marking guides which layout detailed feedback comments organized by criteria for streamlined grading. Both features provide detailed grading and feedback while reducing grader workload compared to traditional grading methods.
