- 2. Site Architecture • It is an approach to the design and planning of websites that involves technical, aesthetic and functional criteria. As in traditional architecture, the focus is on the user and on user requirements.
- 3. PHP: Hypertext Pre-Processsor • PHP is a server scripting language, and a powerful tool for making dynamic and interactive Web pages. • Is the “preprocessor” to HTML- it dictates how HTML is rendered • Does not actually show up on page

Wordpress Template Hierarchy • TEMPLATE HIERARCHY: The template hierarchy for WordPress determines which template file the CMS will use to render each page of your website. • TEMPLATES: files that tell WordPress how to display different types of content on your website. There are template files for posts and pages, as well as archives and attachments. • HOW: It determines the order in which template files are chosen. Every time a request is made to your website, WordPress will go down the hierarchy and serve up the first matching template file.
