Education Our services assisted the Client to ensure that the Design and Build Energy Contractor and its associated project management company delivered a Fit-Outs building which met the Client and Funder’s requirements. Health The building includes new aircraft storage and apron, new aircraft Industrial maintenance and engineering areas together with new offices, a lift, Leisure & Tourism reception area and new kitchen and restaurant facilities. DESIGN TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE BLOCK BIRKENHEAD SCHOOL VALUE: £1.25million The project comprised of the construction of a new two storey block Airports & Airfields between two existing buildings to form a new science and technology block with adjacent corridor together with alteration works within the existing Education buildings to facilitate the new accesses. Energy Fit-Outs Our Quantity Surveyor assisted the Client and Architect to select an Health appropriate procurement route and Form of Contract. Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent’s CDM Co-ordinator also advised the Client and assisted the School to Offices discharge its duties under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 since the works would be carried out during a “live” school Refurbishment term. PRIMARY SCHOOL EXTENSION / REFURBISHMENT PENTREUCHAF PRIMARY SCHOOL VALUE: £785k Advent Project Management Ltd provided Quantity Surveyor services on Airports & Airfields this project which involved the construction of a large Extension for additional classrooms and the refurbishment of the existing school including Education classrooms and commercial kitchen. SIXTH FORM COLLEGE BIRKENHEAD SCHOOL VALUE: UNDISCLOSED This project involved the full refurbishment of the existing sixth form Airports & Airfields building, along with an extension to provide much needed additional social space for the students. Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Offices Refurbishment Residential The construction works were undertaken in the centre of a live School Sport environment, however through careful liaison with the School Facilities & Estate Manager we kept disruption to a minimum. The new facilities have been well received by Students, Parents & Faculty.
YSGOL GLAN Y MOR SECONDARY SCHOOL GWYNEDD COUNTY COUNCIL VALUE: £2.4million Advent Project Management Ltd provided CDM Co-ordinator services Airports & Airfields on this project which entailed works in 3 phases: Education Phase 1 - involved the demolition of the front single storey classrooms Energy and boarding up the remaining structures. Fit-Outs Health Phase 2 - the design and construction of a new two storey teaching Industrial block whilst also completing the roof refurbishment. Leisure & Tourism Offices Phases 3 - demolition of the remaining classrooms, and the refurbishment of remaining schools. Refurbishment Residential Sport
WIND FARM DEVELOPMENT CARNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: UNDISCLOSED Advent Project Management successfully assisted the Client to obtain Airports & Airfields planning permission for two number 250kW wind turbines measuring 45 Education meters to tip of blade and which could provide enough electricity for 316 homes annually. Energy Fit-Outs Advent managed the undertaking of various surveys in order to meet with Health the planning authority’s policies such as archaeological and landscape visual Industrial impact considerations. WIND AND SOLAR INSTALLATION LLEYN LEISURE & RURAL SERVICES LTD. VALUE: £750k Advent Project Management produced a Airports & Airfields feasibility study on the renewable energy Education options available for our Client to reduce the farms carbon footprint. Energy Fit-Outs To date we have successfully assisted our Health Client to install a 50kW Solar PV array on a Industrial large agricultural building and we’re also in Leisure & Tourism the process of submitting a planning Offices application for two 75kW Wind turbines Refurbishment which will assist the Client to diversify their income stream by benefiting from the Residential Governments Feed In Tariff Scheme which Sport pays an index linked, tax free rate to the Client for every kW produced for a minimum of 20 years.
NEW KITCHEN & RESTAURANT FACILITIES CAERNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: £100k Advent Project Management assisted the Airports & Airfields Client to select an appropriate designer to Education develop fully functional new commercial Energy kitchen and restaurant facilities, complete with Wi-Fi connections for pilots, passengers Fit-Outs and visitors to have access to the internet Health while using the facility. Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent Project Management provided a Offices complete turnkey solution and assisted the Refurbishment Client to select a modern and vibrant colour scheme. We also arranged for visualisations Residential to be displayed in advance of the work for Sport visitors and staff to be able to contribute to the process.
NEW OFFICE & BOARDROOM FIT OUT CAERNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: £80k Advent Project Management Ltd assisted the Airports & Airfields Client to procure furniture of a very high Education standard to fit-out individual offices, the Energy Managing Director’s office and Boardroom and reception areas, in a brand new airport Fit-Outs terminal facility. Health Industrial Advent provided a complete turnkey solution Leisure & Tourism by providing furniture layout plans, procuring Offices furniture and supervising the installations on site. Refurbishment Residential Advent also provided IT and Communications Sport services, our IT Project Manager also provided design guidance, some installation work and on-site supervision of a new computer server and integrated IT and Communications installation linking the new offices with the remaining buildings at the Airport.

COMMUNITY CARE ACCOMMODATION BETSI CADWALADR UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD VALUE: £1.5million Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Offices Advent Project Management Ltd. providing both Quantity Surveying and Refurbishment CDM Coordinator services for the construction of new residential Residential accommodation at Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital. The buildings will be used as Sport residential units for patients with mental health problems. Due to the existing Hospital being in use throughout the contract Advent worked alongside both the Client and the Contractor ensuring that every measure had been taken to ensure the safety of all people who may have been at risk which included the Staff, Patients and the General Public visiting the existing Hospital.
COUNSELLING SUITE, HOPE HOUSE HOPE HOUSE CHILDRENS HOSPICES VALUE: £1.5million Hope House Children’s Hospices is a registered charity offering care and Airports & Airfields support to life limited children, young people and their families. The Education services provided include respite and terminal care at the hospice and/or Energy within the family home, and support such as counselling, advocacy and the promotion of children, young people’s and carer’s rights. Fit-Outs Health The project was to provide a purpose built counselling suite and training Industrial room together with associated offices and welfare facilities including hard and soft landscaping on a green field site adjacent to the existing hospice. ST DUNSTANS, LLANDUDNO ST DUNSTANS VALUE: £5.5million The development of the Llandudno Centre Airports & Airfields was part of St Dunstan’s expansion pan to Education help more ex-Service personnel in need of Energy specialist support in ways which will provide the most benefit. Fit-Outs Health The project comprised of the refurbishment Industrial of the grade II listed building making it DDA Leisure & Tourism compliant and extensions to the kitchen, Offices service corridor, and new linked building accommodating bedrooms, training rooms Refurbishment and storage spaces. Residential Sport Advent assisted the Client to discharge its duties under the Construction Design & Management Regulations 2007.
YSBYTY ALLTWEN HOSPITAL BETSI CADWALADR UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD VALUE: £15million Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent’s CDM Co-ordinator provided the Health Trust with advice in all Offices aspects of construction health and safety risk management from the design Refurbishment stage through to completion of construction on site. This included advising Residential on competency of contractors, adequacy of management Photo © Daily mail arrangements, Sport proper Co-ordination of Health & Safety and monitoring and reporting of contractor’s compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations on site. Advent Project Management’s CDM Co-ordinator advised on the requirements and collation of pre-tender health and safety information and the form and content of the Health & safety File at Completion.
HIGH BAY WAREHOUSE DACTA LTD. VALUE: £900k Advent Project Management assisted the Airports & Airfields Client to deliver the construction of a Education brand new high-bay warehouse within a Energy strict project delivery timescale to ensure that the Client’s first import order was able Fit-Outs to be securely accepted and stored. Our Health services included structuring the building Industrial contract, assisting to liaise with Wrexham Leisure & Tourism Borough Council, the Environment Agency Offices and adjoining owners to obtain development permissions on behalf of the Refurbishment client and agreeing the final account with Residential the contractor. Sport
BLACK SHEDS, OUTDOOR PERSUITS CENTRE GWYNEDD COUNTY COUNCIL VALUE: £1.2million The Black Shed project involved creating a Airports & Airfields replacement for the original 1900's wharf Education coal-sheds at Aberdyfi, South Gwynedd. Energy The new community-focused spaces were redesigned and rebuilt between 2004 and Fit-Outs 2005, utilising a £1.2 million budget. Health Challenges included - adhering to the strict Industrial budgetary allowance; working within the Leisure & Tourism confines of a limited space further Offices complicated by the busy nature of a quayside in a popular holiday town; Refurbishment meeting with the approval of the National Residential Parks; creating a highly energy efficient Sport space with minimal environmental impact. The building is now an asset to the area and incorporates permanent boat sheds, maintenance facilities and teaching facilities for The Outward Bound Trust along with business units adapted for use by community-focused projects and individual enterprises.
INDOOR KARTING CENTRE ERYRI LEISURE CYF VALUE: £750k Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Following the Client being let down by his original team of consultants, Advent Offices Project Management Ltd were urgently brought in by the Client’s advisors to Refurbishment ensure that the Client’s funding would not be lost. This included grant aid Residential funding from Gwynedd Council and the Welsh Assembly Government in addition to private and commercial funding and investment. Advent urgently Sport assembled its own team of consultants and designers and completely revised the original scheme layout in order to obtain planning permission and carried out a value engineering exercise to bring the project within the client’s budget. Within 4 months, an acceptable tender was received which met with the approval of the client and funders, thereby allowing the project to proceed. The construction project was successfully delivered within time and budget and the Redline indoor karting centre was opened by Wales’ First Minister on 30th November 2007 [see above photo].
NEW CONFERENCE & EVENTS SUITE ST GEORGE’S HOTEL VALUE: £600k Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent Project Management Ltd. provided project management and CDM Offices Co-ordinator services on this project. Refurbishment The work entailed the stripping out, alterations and refurbishment of Residential approximately 450m2 of the existing basement level to the hotel in order to Sport create a new conference and events suite, with dining and bar facilities. Also included within the scheme was an external paved and landscaped terrace area with tables and seating for outdoor dining, all carefully blended in with the existing Victorian architecture to comply with conservation requirements.
EXCAVATION OF COURSE FISHING LAKES LLEYN LEISURE & RURAL SERVICES VALUE: UNDISCLOSED Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Offices Advent were appointed as the principal consultant on this exciting project Refurbishment which involved the excavation of fishing lakes including associated Residential landscaping works. Sport The Lakes contain both Carp and Tench varieties of fish and the lakes are fed by an adjacent stream which required multiple Environmental Agency Consents.
YNYS MÔN SOCIAL ENTERPRISE CENTRE MENTER MON VALUE: £2.5million Advent assembled a professional and experienced team of consultants and Airports & Airfields designers comprising of architect, Mechanical & Electrical Engineers, BREAM Education assessor and in addition carried out Project Management, Quantity Energy Surveying and CDM Co-ordinator services In-house. Fit-Outs The works involved the complete internal strip out of the existing building Health and construction of new internal floors and layout to form offices, public Industrial spaces and storage, at the Town Hall in Llangefni. BAND ROOM, DEINIOLEN DEINIOLEN SILVER BAND VALUE: £400k Ian Williams, our Managing Director project Airports & Airfields managed and raised funding to assist the Education Client to refurbish and renovate a Energy dilapidated old slate mill (circa 1800) transforming the property into a modern Fit-Outs and vibrant community focal point in the Health community of Deiniolen. The works Industrial comprised extensions and internal Leisure & Tourism refurbishment, brand new heating Offices installations with temperature controls and Refurbishment the installations of small kitchen facilities on both floors together with specialist acoustic Residential treatments to the band rehearsal area. Sport The completed project featured on the National Lottery mid-week televised draw in May 1998.
PENRALLT BAPTIST CHURCH PENRALLT BAPTIST CHURCH VALUE: UNDISCLOSED Advent Project Management Ltd assisted Airports & Airfields the Client to refurbish and renovate a Education dilapidated old chapel transforming the Energy empty property into a modern and vibrant religious centre for the local Fit-Outs Baptist Church. Our project manager Health also assisted the Client to obtain a Town Industrial Improvement Grant from Gwynedd Leisure & Tourism Council towards the cost of sandblasting Offices the external façade to renew the Listed Refurbishment building’s appearance. The works comprised internal refurbishment, Residential provision of heating facilities, a gallery Sport and modern kitchen facilities.
17 APARTMENTS, RHOSNEIGR MR NEIL OLDHAM VALUE: £1.5million Advent Project Management Ltd assisted the Client to select the most Airports & Airfields appropriate procurement route for this prestigious development located in Education the centre of one of Anglesey’s busiest tourist resorts. The 17 units built on Energy three floors include affordable housing units. Fit-Outs Advent provided project management supervision of the whole process from Health design stage through the tendering process to on-site construction works. LUXURY FARM HOUSE, LLEYN PENINSULA LLEYN LEISURE & RURAL SERVICES VALUE: £800k This brand new property is a private dwelling for a local entrepreneur and his Airports & Airfields wife. The property is set in the idyllic location surrounded by landscaped Education grounds with two man-made fishing lakes. Advent assisted the client and his Energy architect to obtain planning and building regulation permissions. The house was completed in the Summer of 2009 and Advent have provided an inception Fit-Outs to completion service, having obtained competitive tenders from reputable Health local contractors, which was the client’s desire. Industrial Leisure & Tourism The property has the latest sustainable means of heating the property by the Offices use of a ground source heat pump. The property has also been clad with local Refurbishment stone from the Trefor quarries. Residential Sport
NEW BANGOR CITY FC FOTBALL STADIUM BANGOR CITY COUNCIL VALUE: £2miliion Advent Project Management Ltd were commissioned by Bangor City Council’s Airports & Airfields Town Clerk, Mr Gwyn Hughes to assist the Council and the Football Club Education ensure that their objectives, requirements and Agreements with the Developer Energy were being met both on‐site and in terms of the necessary paperwork, such as Programmes and Collateral Warranties, Welsh FA Stadium requirements, etc. Fit-Outs Advent PM provided a Project Monitor at each Site Progress Meeting and at Health other ad‐hoc meetings when requested e.g. pitch quality finalisation Industrial inspections, pre‐Handover inspections, meetings with the Police and Bomb Leisure & Tourism Squad, etc. Offices Refurbishment Advent also assisted the Client with boundary treatment discussions and monitoring the provision of Collateral Warranties by all Designers and Residential sub‐contractors with Design input. TESTIMONIALS ADVENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT “Advent provided consultant project management support to the NHS in developing the ultimately successful business case for the North Wales Clinical School. This undertaking, for which I was Project Director, was a multi site project with a capital budget of £15 million. It has enabled the NHS in North Wales to triple the number of medical students in training across the area with the ultimate objective of retaining more graduates locally when their training is complete. It was a complex venture which involved detailed negotiations with Cardiff University and the HE providers in the region regarding the significant increase in the number of medical students to be trained in North Wales. It required the building of specialist teaching facilities and accommodation at all three North Wales DGHs as well as at Bangor and Glyndwr (then NEWI) Universities. The call on health funding for development in the university sector was a particularly sensitive issue and the demands placed on the project team in preparing the business case were considerable. Advent proved to be totally reliable and committed consultants throughout and made a significant contribution to both the overall management of the project and the preparation of a number of detailed technical appendices. NEW TERMINAL BUILDING CAERNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: £1.25million Advent provided Project Monitor services in accordance with the Royal Airports & Airfields Institution of Chartered Surveyors Guidance Notes. Education Our services assisted the Client to ensure that the Design and Build Energy Contractor and its associated project management company delivered a Fit-Outs building which met the Client and Funder’s requirements. Health The building includes new aircraft storage and apron, new aircraft Industrial maintenance and engineering areas together with new offices, a lift, Leisure & Tourism reception area and new kitchen and restaurant facilities. DESIGN TECHNOLOGY & SCIENCE BLOCK BIRKENHEAD SCHOOL VALUE: £1.25million The project comprised of the construction of a new two storey block Airports & Airfields between two existing buildings to form a new science and technology block with adjacent corridor together with alteration works within the existing Education buildings to facilitate the new accesses. Energy Fit-Outs Our Quantity Surveyor assisted the Client and Architect to select an Health appropriate procurement route and Form of Contract. Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent’s CDM Co-ordinator also advised the Client and assisted the School to Offices discharge its duties under the Construction Design and Management Regulations 2007 since the works would be carried out during a “live” school Refurbishment term. PRIMARY SCHOOL EXTENSION / REFURBISHMENT PENTREUCHAF PRIMARY SCHOOL VALUE: £785k Advent Project Management Ltd provided Quantity Surveyor services on Airports & Airfields this project which involved the construction of a large Extension for additional classrooms and the refurbishment of the existing school including Education classrooms and commercial kitchen. SIXTH FORM COLLEGE BIRKENHEAD SCHOOL VALUE: UNDISCLOSED This project involved the full refurbishment of the existing sixth form Airports & Airfields building, along with an extension to provide much needed additional social space for the students. Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Offices Refurbishment Residential The construction works were undertaken in the centre of a live School Sport environment, however through careful liaison with the School Facilities & Estate Manager we kept disruption to a minimum. The new facilities have been well received by Students, Parents & Faculty.

YSGOL GLAN Y MOR SECONDARY SCHOOL GWYNEDD COUNTY COUNCIL VALUE: £2.4million Advent Project Management Ltd provided CDM Co-ordinator services Airports & Airfields on this project which entailed works in 3 phases: Education Phase 1 - involved the demolition of the front single storey classrooms Energy and boarding up the remaining structures. Fit-Outs Health Phase 2 - the design and construction of a new two storey teaching Industrial block whilst also completing the roof refurbishment. WIND FARM DEVELOPMENT CARNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: UNDISCLOSED Advent Project Management successfully assisted the Client to obtain Airports & Airfields planning permission for two number 250kW wind turbines measuring 45 Education meters to tip of blade and which could provide enough electricity for 316 homes annually. Energy Fit-Outs Advent managed the undertaking of various surveys in order to meet with Health the planning authority’s policies such as archaeological and landscape visual Industrial impact considerations. VALUE: £750k Advent Project Management produced a Airports & Airfields feasibility study on the renewable energy Education options available for our Client to reduce the farms carbon footprint. Energy Fit-Outs To date we have successfully assisted our Health Client to install a 50kW Solar PV array on a Industrial large agricultural building and we’re also in Leisure & Tourism the process of submitting a planning Offices application for two 75kW Wind turbines Refurbishment which will assist the Client to diversify their income stream by benefiting from the Residential Governments Feed In Tariff Scheme which Sport pays an index linked, tax free rate to the Client for every kW produced for a minimum of 20 years.

NEW KITCHEN & RESTAURANT FACILITIES CAERNARFON AIRPORT VALUE: £100k Advent Project Management assisted the Airports & Airfields Client to select an appropriate designer to Education develop fully functional new commercial Energy kitchen and restaurant facilities, complete with Wi-Fi connections for pilots, passengers Fit-Outs and visitors to have access to the internet Health while using the facility. Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent Project Management provided a Offices complete turnkey solution and assisted the Refurbishment Client to select a modern and vibrant colour scheme. We also arranged for visualisations Residential to be displayed in advance of the work for Sport visitors and staff to be able to contribute to the process.

Health Industrial Advent provided a complete turnkey solution Leisure & Tourism by providing furniture layout plans, procuring Offices furniture and supervising the installations on site. Refurbishment Residential Advent also provided IT and Communications Sport services, our IT Project Manager also provided design guidance, some installation work and on-site supervision of a new computer server and integrated IT and Communications installation linking the new offices with the remaining buildings at the Airport.

COMMUNITY CARE ACCOMMODATION BETSI CADWALADR UNIVERSITY HEALTH BOARD VALUE: £1.5million Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Offices Advent Project Management Ltd. providing both Quantity Surveying and Refurbishment CDM Coordinator services for the construction of new residential Residential accommodation at Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital. The buildings will be used as Sport residential units for patients with mental health problems. Due to the existing Hospital being in use throughout the contract Advent worked alongside both the Client and the Contractor ensuring that every measure had been taken to ensure the safety of all people who may have been at risk which included the Staff, Patients and the General Public visiting the existing Hospital.

COUNSELLING SUITE, HOPE HOUSE HOPE HOUSE CHILDRENS HOSPICES VALUE: £1.5million Hope House Children’s Hospices is a registered charity offering care and Airports & Airfields support to life limited children, young people and their families. The Education services provided include respite and terminal care at the hospice and/or Energy within the family home, and support such as counselling, advocacy and the promotion of children, young people’s and carer’s rights. Fit-Outs Health The project was to provide a purpose built counselling suite and training Industrial room together with associated offices and welfare facilities including hard and soft landscaping on a green field site adjacent to the existing hospice. ST DUNSTANS, LLANDUDNO ST DUNSTANS VALUE: £5.5million The development of the Llandudno Centre Airports & Airfields was part of St Dunstan’s expansion pan to Education help more ex-Service personnel in need of Energy specialist support in ways which will provide the most benefit. Fit-Outs Health The project comprised of the refurbishment Industrial of the grade II listed building making it DDA Leisure & Tourism compliant and extensions to the kitchen, Offices service corridor, and new linked building accommodating bedrooms, training rooms Refurbishment and storage spaces. Residential Sport Advent assisted the Client to discharge its duties under the Construction Design & Management Regulations 2007.

This included advising Residential on competency of contractors, adequacy of management Photo © Daily mail arrangements, Sport proper Co-ordination of Health & Safety and monitoring and reporting of contractor’s compliance with the Construction Design and Management Regulations on site. Advent Project Management’s CDM Co-ordinator advised on the requirements and collation of pre-tender health and safety information and the form and content of the Health & safety File at Completion.

Our Health services included structuring the building Industrial contract, assisting to liaise with Wrexham Leisure & Tourism Borough Council, the Environment Agency Offices and adjoining owners to obtain development permissions on behalf of the Refurbishment client and agreeing the final account with Residential the contractor. BLACK SHEDS, OUTDOOR PERSUITS CENTRE GWYNEDD COUNTY COUNCIL VALUE: £1.2million The Black Shed project involved creating a Airports & Airfields replacement for the original 1900's wharf Education coal-sheds at Aberdyfi, South Gwynedd. Energy The new community-focused spaces were redesigned and rebuilt between 2004 and Fit-Outs 2005, utilising a £1.2 million budget. Health Challenges included - adhering to the strict Industrial budgetary allowance; working within the Leisure & Tourism confines of a limited space further Offices complicated by the busy nature of a quayside in a popular holiday town; Refurbishment meeting with the approval of the National Residential Parks; creating a highly energy efficient Sport space with minimal environmental impact. The building is now an asset to the area and incorporates permanent boat sheds, maintenance facilities and teaching facilities for The Outward Bound Trust along with business units adapted for use by community-focused projects and individual enterprises.

INDOOR KARTING CENTRE ERYRI LEISURE CYF VALUE: £750k Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Following the Client being let down by his original team of consultants, Advent Offices Project Management Ltd were urgently brought in by the Client’s advisors to Refurbishment ensure that the Client’s funding would not be lost. This included grant aid Residential funding from Gwynedd Council and the Welsh Assembly Government in addition to private and commercial funding and investment. Advent urgently Sport assembled its own team of consultants and designers and completely revised the original scheme layout in order to obtain planning permission and carried out a value engineering exercise to bring the project within the client’s budget. Within 4 months, an acceptable tender was received which met with the approval of the client and funders, thereby allowing the project to proceed. The construction project was successfully delivered within time and budget and the Redline indoor karting centre was opened by Wales’ First Minister on 30th November 2007 [see above photo].

NEW CONFERENCE & EVENTS SUITE ST GEORGE’S HOTEL VALUE: £600k Airports & Airfields Education Energy Fit-Outs Health Industrial Leisure & Tourism Advent Project Management Ltd. provided project management and CDM Offices Co-ordinator services on this project. Refurbishment The work entailed the stripping out, alterations and refurbishment of Residential approximately 450m2 of the existing basement level to the hotel in order to Sport create a new conference and events suite, with dining and bar facilities. Also included within the scheme was an external paved and landscaped terrace area with tables and seating for outdoor dining, all carefully blended in with the existing Victorian architecture to comply with conservation requirements.

Sport The Lakes contain both Carp and Tench varieties of fish and the lakes are fed by an adjacent stream which required multiple Environmental Agency Consents.

BAND ROOM, DEINIOLEN DEINIOLEN SILVER BAND VALUE: £400k Ian Williams, our Managing Director project Airports & Airfields managed and raised funding to assist the Education Client to refurbish and renovate a Energy dilapidated old slate mill (circa 1800) transforming the property into a modern Fit-Outs and vibrant community focal point in the Health community of Deiniolen. The works Industrial comprised extensions and internal Leisure & Tourism refurbishment, brand new heating Offices installations with temperature controls and Refurbishment the installations of small kitchen facilities on both floors together with specialist acoustic Residential treatments to the band rehearsal area. Sport The completed project featured on the National Lottery mid-week televised draw in May 1998.

  • 31. LUXURY FARM HOUSE, LLEYN PENINSULA LLEYN LEISURE & RURAL SERVICES VALUE: £800k This brand new property is a private dwelling for a local entrepreneur and his Airports & Airfields wife. The property is set in the idyllic location surrounded by landscaped Education grounds with two man-made fishing lakes. Advent assisted the client and his Energy architect to obtain planning and building regulation permissions. The house was completed in the Summer of 2009 and Advent have provided an inception Fit-Outs to completion service, having obtained competitive tenders from reputable Health local contractors, which was the client’s desire. Industrial Leisure & Tourism The property has the latest sustainable means of heating the property by the Offices use of a ground source heat pump. The property has also been clad with local Refurbishment stone from the Trefor quarries. Residential Sport

NEW BANGOR CITY FC FOTBALL STADIUM BANGOR CITY COUNCIL VALUE: £2miliion Advent Project Management Ltd were commissioned by Bangor City Council’s Airports & Airfields Town Clerk, Mr Gwyn Hughes to assist the Council and the Football Club Education ensure that their objectives, requirements and Agreements with the Developer Energy were being met both on‐site and in terms of the necessary paperwork, such as Programmes and Collateral Warranties, Welsh FA Stadium requirements, etc. Fit-Outs Advent PM provided a Project Monitor at each Site Progress Meeting and at Health other ad‐hoc meetings when requested e.g. pitch quality finalisation Industrial inspections, pre‐Handover inspections, meetings with the Police and Bomb Leisure & Tourism Squad, etc. Offices Refurbishment Advent also assisted the Client with boundary treatment discussions and monitoring the provision of Collateral Warranties by all Designers and Residential sub‐contractors with Design input. TESTIMONIALS ADVENT PROJECT MANAGEMENT “Advent provided consultant project management support to the NHS in developing the ultimately successful business case for the North Wales Clinical School. This undertaking, for which I was Project Director, was a multi site project with a capital budget of £15 million. It has enabled the NHS in North Wales to triple the number of medical students in training across the area with the ultimate objective of retaining more graduates locally when their training is complete. It was a complex venture which involved detailed negotiations with Cardiff University and the HE providers in the region regarding the significant increase in the number of medical students to be trained in North Wales. It required the building of specialist teaching facilities and accommodation at all three North Wales DGHs as well as at Bangor and Glyndwr (then NEWI) Universities. The call on health funding for development in the university sector was a particularly sensitive issue and the demands placed on the project team in preparing the business case were considerable. The Assembly appointed its own specialist consultant to review the business case. Advent proved to be totally reliable and committed consultants throughout and made a significant contribution to both the overall management of the project and the preparation of a number of detailed technical appendices. Ian Williams was Advent’s lead, supported by Stephen Burrows.
