This document summarizes observations from the construction site of the Millennium Science Complex on the Penn State University campus. It describes the activities observed such as waste removal, material transportation, and concrete decking formwork. It also discusses the manpower and equipment used, including a telescopic forklift, mini excavator, concrete pump truck and two cranes. In addition, it covers construction management issues, safety considerations, and research on the topic of concrete, which is being used for the slab on grade, foundation walls, and concrete decking of the new complex.
