ABOUT THE PROJECT
 It is multistorey building project which
consist of 8 block named as Block
A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H.
 Block G is (G + 5) floors multistorey
building.
 Except block G, the every building is of
(G +6) floors.
 This site comes in the Airport Zone.
Safety Precautions
Safety of working on the site is most important thing.
So following safety garments should be wore by all worker while working.
•Boots
•Gloves
•Helmets
•And other safety garments if requires for work.

Structure
 Finishing Work
Material used
 Coarse Aggregate
A majority of the volume of concrete (60 – 80%) is occupied
by aggregate. Its size ranges from 4.75mm to 40mm.
 Fine Aggregate
 If the aggregate size is less than 4.75mm, then it is
called as Fine aggregate. The minimum size of fine
aggregate is 0.075mm is preferred for construction
works.

 Set back
 It is a process to lay down outline of building by taking reference of
surrounding.
 Layout
 Making details like pile position and walls on ground.
 Piling
 It is process of constructing pile which will transfer load to sub soil.

 Pile Cap
 Pile cap is part of which distribute superstructure load
to piles equally.
 Pedestal
 Pedestal is formation level for short column.
 Short Column
 Short column is used to connect tie beam and pile cap
and is subjected to compressive load
 Tie Beam
 It is used to connect two or more columns.
Column
 It is the vertical member which transfers the
load from beam and slab to the substructure.
Layout
It is the process of marking for the column
outer surface with the reference of grid line.
Starter
Starter is basically casted to set the column
alignment correctly.
Shuttering/Formwork
Shuttering is done so that column will be in
specified shape and have proper clear cover.

Casting and Curing
Casting is done with pouring concrete in the
shuttered work, where Curing is done to
maintain the moisture and rate of hydration.
Slab & Beam
 Slab is flat surface made up of concrete on
which mostly live loads acts.
 The slab which we casted is of 4.5 inches
and 114.3mm.
 The slab we casted is two way slab.
 Down slab is also casted for the bathroom
purpose.
 Beam is the horizontal member which is
mostly between the two column and it
transfers the load to column and then to the
foundation
Slab shuttering and leveling
Shuttering is done for casting the slab by
pouring the concrete on it with specified
thickness.
Leveling is done of the shuttering work to
level the surface properly so that slab lower
surface will be proper and plain.
Slab and Beam reinforcement
Slab casting & curing
 Casting is basically pouring the concrete on the
formwork and Curing is the done to maintain the
moisture and rate of hydration
Staircase
 Shuttering for staircase is first step of stair
construction, then reinforcement is placed and
then shuttering for treads and risers are placed.
 Now casting is done and compaction will be
done.
 After one 24 hrs curing is started.
Brick Work
Generally in brick work the layout is firstly done
and then above that layout wall is constructed.
Finishing work
 Finishing work is the last step in building
construction when main structure is fully built-up.
 Finishing work consists many work like
distempering, painting, wood work, electrical
wiring and connection.
 Plastering is done of thickness 20 to 30mm.
 Main finishing work are
 Painting
 Plumbing
 Electrical wiring
 Floor finishing.
Finishing work makes a building aesthetically more
appealing and comfortable to live.
