- 3. 4:00-4:45pm Seating the public in attendance. Standing by for the event. Showing sites and sounds of Somaliland.
- 5. 4:50-5:05pm Introduction of the delegates and Columbus community spokesperson.
- 6. 5:05-5:25pm House Speaker will address the public. He will talk about the following: Inspiration of future leaders and how they can assist in the building process. Achievements of Somaliland parliament since the election of its members. Preparations of forthcoming elections such as the, role of election commission, role of observers, voting polls, counting and verification mechanisms and campaign rules.
- 7. 5:25-5:45pm Chairman of UCID party and presidential candidate’s address: Democracy from grassroots; how Somaliland succeeded to build democratic institutions with minimum or no International assistance . Role of UCID party in the democratic process. Composition of party’s constituencies. UCID party vision and objectives. Plans for second generation leaders. Chairman’s message for Columbus community. Chairman’s advice for the youth.
- 8. 5:45-5:55pm Additional guest speaker chosen by the delegation.
- 10. 6:00-7:pm Refreshments, snacks and side discussions.
