  • #5: STEM not only in class room, but also outside: research institiution, science parks, museumas, nature / natural environment, companies, interviews with proffesional people such as engineers,…, user of STEM
  • #12: Take a look to play and motivation. We are inrinsic motivated when we have some autonomy, relation to what we learn and have the competences. When we look to Play, we have also autonomy, but also we share and are equal. Can we combine learning and play in school?
  • #16: You can imagine that this kind of learning doesn’t fit in the traditional way of how a school is organised. In 2016 we developed together with other educator that work with Agile principles in their schools, the Agile in Education Compass. This compass visuals the preconditions of an flexible learning environment like we have at Agora an Niekée. The hart of the compass is the iteration. The learning environment is learner centred and we use the diversity of our pupils to develop their personal learning paths. Wonder moments, curiosity are starting points. Of course this needs a different culture in school. Communication between pupils, teachers, parents is very important. Agile methods like Scrum help us to make the learning process visible and reflect on the process.
