Raw GNSS measurements can be used by various developers for new applications and tools. They allow validation of advanced test tools by comparing real measurements to truth data from GNSS simulators. For example, an experiment analyzed raw measurements from an Android app in real-time under simulated multipath conditions, like near a building, to isolate problems from factors like antenna polarization, satellite orbits and delays.
