Understanding Scrum Methodology

 Introduced the idea of “Empirical Process
 Control”

 Uses real world progress of any project

 Projects are divided into succinct work cadences
known as “Sprints”, typically divided in one, two
 or three weeks in duration.
 End of each ‘sprint’, meet to access the progress
of a project and its next steps.

 Allows a project’s direction to be adjusted or
reoriented based on completed work, not
 speculation or predictions.

 Capacity for adaption and flexibility makes it an
appealing option and stability of its practices give
team something to lean on when development
 gets chaotic.
