Del Pilar was a Filipino writer and journalist who used satire and parody to attack oppressive Spanish rule in the Philippines. His work "Dasalan at Tocsohan" is presented as a case study to analyze through its historical context, Del Pilar's background and role in the Propaganda Movement, and use of parody as a literary form of criticism.
Students are then given activities to design a parody logo or song lyrics
