Android 2.2, code-named "Froyo", will include support for Adobe Flash, according to Andy Rubin, VP of Engineering at Google. While Rubin confirmed Flash support is coming in the next Android release, he did not give a specific launch date. Unconfirmed sources estimate Android 2.2 may be released in May, bringing Flash functionality that was first demonstrated on the T-Mobile G1 in 2008.
