Anointing of the cleansed leper

THE ANOINTING
OF THE
CLEANSED
LEPER

The blood brought
cleansing to the leper.
The leper symbolized
sinful man.
Now we will see that the
blood made it possible
for him to be anointed.

CLASS OUTLINE
• After the leper is cleansed.
• The requested sacrifice.
• The blood applied.
• The oil applied.

LEVITICUS8-9 (NKJV)
WE WILL START THIS MEETING
WITH A PROPHETIC ACTIVATION.
WHAT IS YOUR PERSONAL
REVELATION WITH RESPECT TO:
WASH HIS CLOTHES,
WASH HIMSELF IN WATER,
SHAVE ALL HIS HAIR,
NOW HE IS CLEAN.
OUTSIDE SEVEN DAYS.
SEVENTH DAY:
ALL HIS HAIR HE SHALL SHAVE .
WASH HIS CLOTHS,
WASH HIS BODY IN WATER.
HE SHALL BE CLEANSED
• 8 He who is to be
cleansed (A)shall wash his clothes,
shave off all his hair, and (B)wash
himself in water, that he may be
clean. After that he shall come
into the camp, and (C)shall stay
outside his tent seven days. 9 But
on the (D)seventh day he shall
shave all the hair off his head
and his beard and his
eyebrows—all his hair he shall
shave off. He shall wash his
clothes and wash his body in
water, and he shall be clean.

LEVITICUS 8-9
(NKJV) • 10 “And on the eighth day (A)he shall
take two male lambs without
blemish, one ewe lamb of the first
year without blemish, three-
tenths of an ephah of fine flour
mixed with oil as (B)a grain offering,
and one log of oil. 11 Then the priest
who makes him clean shall present
the man who is to be made clean,
and those things, before
the LORD, at the door of the
tabernacle of meeting.
Please note that even that the
leper is already cleansed and
accepted into the camp he has
to present more sacrifices.
Our Lord Jesus shed His blood
for the remission of sins, and
now as believers we are already
clean.
However, we continue to ask
for a continuing cleansing and
protection that His blood
provides.

MATTHEW 6:12-13
(NKJV)
• Leviticus 14:12-13 (NKJV)
• 12 And the priest shall take one male
lamb and (A)offer it as a trespass
offering, and the log of oil,
and (B)wave them as a wave offering
before the LORD. 13 Then he shall kill
the lamb (C)in the place where he
kills the sin offering and the burnt
offering, in a holy place; for (D)as the
sin offering is the priest’s, so is the
trespass offering. (E)It is most holy.
12 And (A)forgive us our
debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 (B)And do not lead us into
temptation,
But (C)deliver us from the evil
one.
[a]For Yours is the kingdom
and the power and the glory
forever. Amen.

LEVITICUS 14:14 (NKJV)
• 14 The priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass
offering, and the priest shall put it (A)on the tip of the right
ear of him who is to be cleansed, on the thumb of his right
hand, and on the big toe of his right foot.
• The priest applies three times the sacrificial blood on the cleansed leper.
• Blood on the right ear.
• Blood on the right thumb.
• Blood to the right big toe.

WHEN THE BLOOD IS APPLIED TO OUR HEARING, WE ARE
SHIELDED FROM THE VOICE OF OUR ENEMIES.
• Psalm55:2-3 (NKJV)
• 2 Attend to me, and hear me;
I (A)am[a] restless in my complaint, and moan noisily,
3 Because of the voice of the enemy,
Because of the oppression of the wicked;
(B)For they bring down trouble upon me,
And in wrath they hate me.

AS BELIEVERS WE HAVE POWER OVER ANY KINDOF VERBAL ATTACK
FROMTHE ENEMIES.
• Isaiah54:17 (NKJV)
• 17 No weapon formed against you shall (A)prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
(B)And their righteousness is from Me,”
Says the LORD.

• John10:27 (NKJV)
• 27 (A)My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow
Me.
• The tongues of the enemies of our Lord are against us.
• We don’t pay attention to what the enemy says!
• We pay attention to the voice of our Master

OUR HANDS REPRESENT THE
WORK THAT WE DO
• Psalm90:17(NKJV)
• 17 (A)And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us,
And (B)establish the work of our hands for us;
Yes, establish the work of our hands.
• The blood will protect the work that we do.
• Our hands will be ready to help those who are down.
• They will be ready to extend in blessings.

OUR GOD WILL DIRECT THE
WORK OF OUR HANDS
• Isaiah61:8 (NKJV)
• 8 “For (A)I, the LORD, love justice;
(B)I hate robbery [a]for burnt offering;
I will direct their work in truth,
(C)And will make with them an everlasting covenant.

OUR FEET ARE SYMBOLIC OF OUR
WALK WITH THE LORD
• 1 John1:7 (NKJV)
• 7 But if we (A)walk in the light as He is in the light, we have
fellowship with one another, and (B)the blood of Jesus Christ His
Son cleanses us from all sin.

THE ANOINTING OIL IN SCRIPTURES REPRESENTS THE WORK
OF THE HOLY SPIRIT
• Leviticus 14:15-16(NKJV)
• 15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into
the palm of his own left hand. 16 Then the priest shall dip his right
finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall (A)sprinkle some
of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD.

AFTER THE BLOOD IS APPLIED, IT IS
TIME FOR THE ANOINTING.
We need to understand that God anoints what the blood has covered. The
anointing of the Holy Spirit Follows the Blood.
In this case, the sprinkling of the oil seven times, signifies the impartation of a
total anointing.

• Leviticus 14:17 (NKJV)
• 17 And of the rest of the oil in
his hand, the priest shall
put some on the tip of the
right ear of him who is to be
cleansed, on the thumb of his
right hand, and on the big toe
of his right foot, on the blood
of the trespass offering.
• Remember, the blood was
already there, but the
anointing oil was put on top
of it.
• Wherever the blood of the
cross of Jesus is, there the
Anointing of the Holy Spirit
will be.

•When the blood is applied to our hearing,
we will not hear the voice of the enemy.
•After the blood is applied,
God brings the anointing to our ears,
so we can hear His voice!

•Isaiah 50:5(NKJV)
•5 The Lord GOD (A)has opened My ear;
And I was not (B)rebellious,
Nor did I turn away.

•When the blood is applied to our hands,
the devil cannot touch our work for God.
•As a result,
the anointing multiplies our effort.

•Colossians 3:23-24 (NKJV)
•23 (A)And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the
Lord and not to men, 24 (B)knowing that from the
Lord you will receive the reward of the
inheritance; (C)for[a] you serve the Lord Christ.

•When the blood is applied to our feet
and our walking.
•God anoints our steps,
so we can walk with Him.

•John 13:10 (NKJV)
•10 Jesus said to him, “He who is bathed needs only
to wash his feet, but is completely clean;
and (A)you are clean, but not all of you.”

LEVITICUS 14:18 KJV)
• 18 The rest of the oil that is in
the priest’s hand he shall put
on the head of him who is to
be cleansed. (A)So the priest
shall make [a]atonement for
him before the LORD.
The Lord wants
to anoint us
from heat to toe.
He wants to cover us
completely with his
Holy Spirit.
