Apple Inc. is an American multinational corporation.
Founded on April 1st 1976.
Founded by Steve Jobs, Ronald Wayne & Steve Wozniak.
Founded at Cupertino, California.
Company name was decided by Steve Jobs.
Continued…
It deals in Hardware and Software.
It has 364 retail stores in 13 countries, and an online
store.
As in 2011, the company had 60,400 permanent
employees & 2,900 temporary employees worldwide.
Annual revenue in 2011 totalled $108 billion worldwide.
Current CEO is Tim Cook.

In 1983, Steve Jobs convinced John Sculley
away from Pepsi-Cola to serve as Apple's CEO.
Steve Jobs
Born on February 24, 1955 in America.
He was an Businessman and technology visionary.
Co-founder of Pixar Animation Studios(walt Disney).
In 1970, Jobs & Wozniak engineered one of the first
commercially personal computers.
In 1985, he left Apple and founded a computer platform
development company.
In 1996 Jobs returned to Apple as an advisor, and become
interim CEO.
In 2003, Jobs was diagnosed with a cancer.
Died on October 5, 2011 due to cancer.

Apple Inc.'s world corporate
headquarters are located in the middle of
Silicon Valley, at 1 Infinite Loop,
Cupertino, California. .
It has six buildings that total 8,50,000
square feet and was built in 1993 by
Sobrato Development Cos.
In 2006, build a second campus on 50
acres assembled from various
contiguous plots. The new campus, also
in Cupertino, will be about one mile east
of the current campus.

Byte into an Apple", was coined in the late 1970s.
1997–2002, Apple used the slogan Think Different in
advertising campaigns.
Apple also has slogans for specific product lines — for
example, "iThink, therefore iMac", was used in 1998 to
promote the iMac.
"Say hello to iPhone" has been used in iPhone advertisements.
"Hello" was also used to introduce the original Macintosh,
iMac, and iPod.
LoGo
First logo, designed by Jobs and Wayne,
depicts Sir Isaac Newton sitting under an apple
tree.
It was established in 1976.
1977-1998
Replaced with the rainbow bitten apple. This Logo
was made by Rob Janoff’s .
1998-2006
The logo which replaced the rainbow apple
is a black same bitten apple.
2006-Present
While Jobs liked the logo, he insisted it be in
color, as a way to humanize the company.
