Dissolve baking soda in vinegar and stir into the batter along with sliced apples. Pour the batter into a baking form and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 15-20 minutes. Once baked, remove from the mold and cut before serving.

- 1. APPLE PIE "CHARLOTTE" We need: three eggs , a cup of flour, a cup of sugar , three apples and some baking soda. From Luisa Pugavyeva, 9a St. Petersburg, Russia
- 2. 1) We put three eggs in a bowl then stir them with a fork . 2) Add one cup of sugar and whisk with eggs until sugar dissolves . 3) Add one cup of flour and mix.
- 3. 4) You take 1/3 teaspoonful of baking soda and pour vinegar in it to dissolve baking soda . When it has dissolved , pour the resulting solution in the dough and mix again. 5) Slice apples , add to batter and mix well
