• Agitator : An agitator is something which is
used to stir liquid or mixture of liquids.
• What it can do ? : It can be used in various
operations, in a pharma industry it can be
used in multiple operations like reactions,
work up's, drying, filtration, etc.
• Agitation : It refers to the induced motion of a
“homogenous” material in a specified way.

Operations.
• The anchor agitator/impeller is close
clearance, radial flow impeller used for mixing
of viscous liquids.

• Highly used for blending Operations.
• They are used in wide shallow tanks and for
materials of high viscosity when low shear is
adequate

• Suitable for GLR's, ANFD's, can handle
Corrosive materials with Glass lining.

• This requires matching the your process
requirements with the correct impeller design. Based
on your requirements in terms of product,
blend/residence time, and rheology, we match the
impeller type, vessel design, power, and speed, to
arrive at an optimum impeller selection.

• Once the process aspects of the mixer design are
finalized, we’ll need to optimize a final design that
uses power efficiently. This could mean altering
the D/T (impeller to Tank Ø) ratio to produce the
