The study evaluates the effectiveness of Support Vector Machine (SVM) in forecasting the monthly river discharge of the Kakareza River in Lorestan, Iran, using data from 1979 to 2015. The results indicate that SVM outperforms other methods, with a correlation coefficient of 0.970, showcasing its capability to provide accurate estimations of river flow. The research underscores the importance of utilizing advanced AI techniques for hydrological predictions to enhance water resource management.
