- 3. Apps for Literacy Dictionary Pros: Fast and ready to use on demand Cons: One needs internet access and it negates the use of the skills for looking up words in the traditional ways such as using the guide words at the top of the pages and looking up words in alphabetical forms

Cons: Although the app prepares students it does not exactly match Word. It is a one-to-one use format and is not very conducive to a small group activity for that reason.
