The U.S. Army Contracting Command (ACC) is a two-star command headquartered at Redstone Arsenal in Alabama that provides contracting support to the U.S. Army. It has two subordinate commands, the Expeditionary Contracting Command and the Mission and Installation Contracting Command, as well as five major contracting centers. In fiscal year 2013, ACC awarded nearly 190,000 contracts worth over $61 billion, accounting for 70% of the Army's contract dollars. ACC ensures that soldiers have the equipment, supplies, and services they need to carry out their mission.
