Driver fatigue causes many car accidents each year. An artificial passenger system uses speech recognition, sensors, and other technologies to monitor drivers for signs of drowsiness and fatigue. If the driver seems tired, the system will provide stimuli like questions, jokes, or alerts to nearby vehicles to help prevent accidents. It aims to allow drivers to safely access services like email and music without compromising safety.

- 7. A camera built into the dashboard also tracks your lip movements to improve the accuracy of the speech recognition.
- 8. A voice analyzer then looks for signs of tiredness by checking to see if the answer matches your profile. Slow responses and a lack of intonation are signs of fatigue.
