Executive Summary
Paperless Life is one of the most important requirements for successful business
and human resource policy. Rewarding and promoting effective performance in
organizations, as well as identifying ineffective performers for developmental programs
or other personnel actions are essential to effective to human resource management. The
ability to conduct Paperless Life relies on the ability to assess an employee’s performance
in a fair and accurate manner. Evaluating employee performance is a difficult task.
Once the supervisor understands the nature of the job and the sources of
information, the information needs to be collected in a systematic way, provided as
feedback, and integrated into the organization’s paperless process for use in making
compensation, job placement, and training decisions and assignments.
In this report the assigned topic are assessed clearly. At first an introduction is
stated before starting the content. In the content part, the theoretical knowledge about
Paperless Life is described. The content is also enriched with the clear concept of practical
knowledge gathered.

1. What is paperless life means Paperless life means:
More screen time and you are more digitally connected. Going paperless means
exchanging and archiving information digitally rather than through letters and pages held
in hand. Simply we are exchanging printing pages for digital documents, common
paperless choices include bills, tax return and pay checks.
2. Some tips of going paperless
 Banking: It is when we do all our banking staff digitally every activity here is done
paperless.
 Flight and train apps: Instead of printing out boarding passes, most airlines and train
have their own apps.
 Google calendar: Instead of a calendar or paper diary you may prefer online calendar.
 Digital billing: Like banks all of our utilities are paid digitally companies allow you to
opt out of paper bills and statements in favor of email and account updates.
 Books and magazines: Read and recycle when you finish reading pass it to your friends.
 Personal identification and documents: Scan store. It will help you if you lose the real
one.
 Photographs: Sort and keep what's needed?
 Medical records: Most of the hospitals and doctors are going digital most of their
activities are done paperless.

3. Benefits of paperless life
 Documents Organization: It’s the ability to quickly locate and disseminate information
which may enhance your company’s efficiency and professional image.
 Client Communication: It’s faster and less expensive when you maintain a customer
email list as you can easily communicate sales and special offers without incurring
postage and printing expenses.
 Paperless Files: It is easily saved and retrieved on the go business travelers can easily
back up expense reports without heeding to save a pile of papers.
 Automatic Backups: When you accidentally throughout an important paper it's
usually gone forever whereas maintaining electronic files allows for multiple backup
points.
 Data Security: Customers will be always concerned about privacy and data protection
which requires companies to respond by implementing proper data security
procedures.
 Environmental Friendliness: It is where the social benefit applies as recycling is always
helpful for the society and environment.
 Financial Benefits: The savings of going paperless extends beyond just the cost of the
paper which can be substantial.

 Significant Cost Savings: It occurs when u save or store something in a digital format
for instance flash drive, computer drives. Paperless systems eliminate many costs
 Speed Of Information: It has access to documents everywhere the data stored
became quick, easy and widely accessible.
 Mobile Workforce: Here the employees became more flexible, the employees
became Mobile because all the information are passes from paper to digital storage.
Employees can assess all information as online work is quick and easier.
 Makes Your Business More Efficient: Technology allows your employees to be more
productive and efficient. Technology makes life faster and easier.
 Ensure Computational Accuracy: When it comes to business you can't stay in business
if you have the numbers right. Modern spreadsheets like excel helps ensure accuracy.
5. Disadvantages of paperless life
 Consumer Habits: many businesses have point of sale systems that do everything on
a tablet. As some consumers like to review things on paper and don't want to print
their transactions later.
 Potential Hackers: Business owners often get too busy to update software and virus
protections, making it easier for hackers to install spyware, steal information or hijack
company data whereas when information is stored on paper and locked in the
cabinets someone would need to physically have access to the paper to steal
information.
 Hardware or software issues: When everything is stored digitally there is a potential
that a system my crash and all information then became lost.

Pros of going paperless are:
 Environmentally Friendly: The biggest and most obvious benefit of removing waste
paper from the workplace is to lessen the impact of environment .Recycling papers
reduce the number of toxic papers.
 Paper, Postage and Printing Costs: A huge amount of money can be saved for the
companies that make the switch to paperless this also means things won't get lost.
 Better Communication: There will be a better communication in paperless systems as
speed of applications are rising.
 Time savings: Huge amount of time is being saved when we switch all our activities
digitally.
Cons of going paperless
 Security: The rise of interconnected technology has made it that bit easier to steal
information, even with security measures as advanced as they are today.
 Environment: All the recycling processes needs electricity which is typically produced
by non-environmentally friendly methods.
 Easier To Forget Bills: Unless you receive several reminders and check your emails
regularly, you may not keep on top of important bills.
 Initial Costs: The primary costs of going paperless is on the higher side.

 Makes Your Business More Efficient: Technology allows your employees to be more
productive and efficient as it makes life easier.

connection in real time easier than ever.

 Paper Issue: The amount of paper used in an organization in a day is really astonishing.
These numbers can be drastically changed by integrating paperless solutions to avoid
the needless printing of documents.
 Digital Payments: The massive paper piles/tedious tasks and inefficiency of paper
based processes are some of the things that employees detest .One easy solution
solution is digital payments compared to manual payment systems.
 Improved Return On Investment: Here the amount of processing cost is decreasing
as a result a greater return on investment with an automated system there is more
benefit in terms of rising productivity.
 To success: In recent times to succeed in digital age organizations need lean
integration and most of all digital processes to support their organization.

a technological platform and innovative marketplace that combines the management of
and enrollment in benefits into one experience.
c) Divido: A private limited company founded in 2014 in UK. They allow people to buy
anything I interest free installments in minutes completely paperless.
d) Capillary Technologies: A private limited company founded in 2008 in India. They
provides mobile based customer management solutions for retailers in India.
e) Prood Smart: A private limited company founded in 2012 in Portugal. They are a cloud
manufacturing execution system that uses mobile devices to collect data directly from
the shop floor, eliminating paper and providing real time analytics that allow for waste
reduction and efficiency improvements.
e) Expansive: A private limited company founded in 2008 in the United States. It is
Software Company that develops a travel and expense web and mobile app for personal
and business use. The app allows users to manage expense transactions by uploading
many things online.
