The final project requires students to conduct a historical/contextual analysis of a selected work, using at least three peer-reviewed sources, and to write an original essay in MLA format of 1000-1500 words. Critical engagement with both primary texts and secondary sources is essential, along with a focus on originality to avoid plagiarism. The paper consists of two parts: a historical/contextual analysis and a self-evaluation of the analysis, due on 7/1/19.
