- 2. Warrior/Hero: What does it mean? The warrior/hero archetype appears in adventure/action stories, fighting to defend all that is just and right. A warrior/hero has a strong sense of loyalty, devotion, and justice. These characteristics help the warrior/hero stay true towards a goal. Warriors are the heroes, as they always come to the rescue, no matter the personal cost. They will inspire others to overcome fears and are always ready to defend their friends and family. - 5. The Dark Side The warrior/hero archetype has the traits of being impatient and vengeful. Sometimes they may become too aggressive and hurt someone innocent for their own cause of revenge. They may take everything into their own hands, even if they are incapable of doing something alone, without asking for help. Winning is very important to a warrior, and doing whatever it takes might be a problem. Loyalty to an evil person can be dangerous as they can be easily manipulated by that person. For me, this may be a problem because I play sports like hockey, and when the level of competition increases, it can get very aggressive and people can get hurt. We need to be very careful that even though we wish to be self righteous and want justice, that we don’t get too carried away and put other people’s safety in danger. - 6. My personal experience of being a Warrior/Hero On a hot summer day when I went to have lunch with a couple friends, I noticed a dog inside a car with no windows open. Being furious of what the owner had done, I stormed into the restaurant asking around if they had left their dog in their car. Unfortunately, the car did not belong to anyone in the restaurant. Determined to find the owner, I went through the next couple stores in the area before finding the owner of the car and let them know how dangerous it could have been for the dog with a authoritative voice. After I left, I felt great and empowered thinking I had just saved the dogs life. I truly was a hero that day. Music: Linkin park – New Divide (Transformers Theme)
