There are twenty students in Marci Poe's fourth grade class, made up of eleven girls and nine boys, including two Muslims, three Jewish students, and two African Americans. The teacher will be teaching the class about various holiday traditions. Students will research different cultural holiday traditions and create a poster and note cards to present what they learned to the class with 95% accuracy. The teacher will bring in objects and use a PowerPoint to teach about different traditions. Students will be able to ask questions and use resources like the internet, books, and multimedia for research. They will present their findings to the class, and their work will be evaluated using a rubric.
