1. Configuration of the Asterisk-Server
After you fitted the Asterisk-Server and a steady IP is given, you can connect to the
server by web interface.
Example: http://server-IP:8088/static/config/index.html
First of all you've to create a dial plan, in which you can enable or disable as example
voicemail, ringgroups or conference.
Now you can create Users.
Here are the settings of an example user:
- Extension ( intern caller ID) is given automatically, but you can change it
- Caller ID Name is the shown name of the user
- Use SIP technology for mobile cellphones
- Chose u-law, G.729 and H263 (for video calls)
