Austria script
- 1. Scene: Exterior The entrance to the hotel Seefelder Hof in Austria. It is snowing and a male member of staff is clearing the entrance to the hotel with a snow shovel. A woman walks towards the hotel reception carrying a bucket and a piece of paper. Alexander Morgen! Two more characters approach from behind the camera and walk towards the hotel carrying bags. They stamp the snow of their shoes in the porch way. Alexander Good Morgen. Samantha Hello! (At the same time as Collin) Collin Hello! (At the same time as Samantha) Scene: Interior Inside the hotel in the communal seating area by the fire. Two characters are sat opposite each other talking about their day and the evening ahead. Christine Have you had a good day love? (Looking across at Alison) Alison Yeah, we went on a long walk and got lost (rolling her eyes.) But yeah apart from that it was really nice! My knees are really aching now though (rubbing her knees.) When we got to the top, which is where we thought we were going to have lunch, the restaurant was shut so that was a bit of a pain really. Christine We had a really nice walk too around the lake! There wasn’t much snow though at all, it’s beginning to melt. It was really warm and sunny though and not too far.
- 2. Alison Ah that’s good then! So what time do you want to have dinner tonight? Christine I thought about seven normal time? (Raising her eyebrows) Alison Okay, well I am going to go up and get ready now if that’s okay with you. I will see you a bit later, around seven ish; okay I will see you later. Alison gets up and walks towards the reception desk around the corner. Christine picks up the magazine to her left and begins to read it.
