The narrator has an excellent family who enjoys spending time together. They used to go on family vacations like trips to Niagara Falls and camping at Silver Lake, where they would swim, fish, and have fun. The narrator's brother lives in their hometown of Ottawa, while their parents, who used to work as a nurse and real estate owner, are now retired.

- 13. I have the best family. They are really cool. We do every thing together. My brother is older than me he lives in my hometown of Ottawa. My parents are great too. They are now retired. My mother was a nurse and my father use to own a real estate company. When I was young we use to do many things together. In 1976, I remember when we went to Niagara Falls on holiday. It was so much fun. We saw the Horseshoe Falls and went to many wax museums. We also use to go camping. I remember when we went to Silver Lake in our family’s motorhome. We went swimming and fishing. I didn’t catch anything but it was still a lot of fun.

- 19. This is a photograph of me with my older brother Mark. I was two years old. I was walking by myself. This is a photo of me on the set of the TV program “The City.” The director of photography took this picture and gave it to me. I really appreciated this kind gesture. This is a photo of my graduation from the Univesity of Ottawa. I graduated from the Faculty of Arts and receive two degrees. One in English and the other in Fine Arts. This is a close up of me. This photograph appeared in the newspaper. I was very proud to have my name and my photo in the newspaper.
- 20. This is a picture of me and my brother Mark. When I was 4 years old my parents bought an Encyclopedia for our family. I remember looking through these books a lot when I was young. The love of learning has always been an important part of my life.
