Back end developer Description Uteek offers off and online media visualization, coding and the development of apps and multimedia solutions for digital journalism projects as well as content marketing services (SEO etc.). Our clients are mostly international publishing houses, ministries and foundations. As a media agency we deal with several projects with different requirements at the same time. We claim high demands not only in perfect coding but as well as in state of the art design and navigation. Your role as a back end developer in our agency will be to define the conception model, data structure and management, develop web applications, and responsible for the testing and validation. Manage the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. A basic understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary as well. Position Requirements: Formal Education & Certification university degree in a computing/science related subject, minimum of bac + 2 Responsibilities Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers Building reusable code and libraries for future use Optimization of the application for maximum speed and scalability Implementation of security and data protection Knowledge & Experience Proven working experience in web applications Full knowledge of content management systems (WORDPRESS, DRUPAL..etc) Basic understanding of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3 User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system Management of hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes Data migration, transformation, and scripting Setup and administration of backups Outputting data in different formats
