Background Editing Practice
I decided to use
an urban styled
wall was my
background to
paste my cut out
subjected onto. I
used an urban
wall with
obvious yet not
‘in your
face’/offensive
graffiti as I want
my subject to be
the main focus
point for the
readers
The subject I chose is
beyonce who is an iconic
figure within the r&b
music genre. She portrays
this with her outfit which
is very out there and
vibrant yet arty
If I were to do this task again I would choose a subject
who I could easily cut out of the image. For example in
this image beyonce is wearing a big fur coat which
makes it difficult to cut out. This is evident on the
surrounding edge the cutting is not great.
I feel as
though if
repeated I
would
ensure
that when
filling in
the image
before
pasting it
over into
another
image that
I ensure I
have filled
in the
whole
image and
checking
this before
pasting it,
as as you
can see
gaps on
the image
(especially
on the
subjects
face)
