As a politician you have one primary goal: to be re-elected as a mayor second time in a row. You can achieve that by making your people happy. Before you ask: the previous mayor is rotting in jail for corruption. Backlog City sits on the shores of Safe Sea around the delta of Kanban River. It is surrounded by woods and hills. There are 2.6 million people living there in 4 districts: 1. District A, with 1.5 million inhabitants. The salary median here is $300. This is mostly blocks district with some townhouses as well. It surrounds the old shipyards and docks area. Old infrastructure. No recreational areas. Mostly small shops. Relatively high crime rate. Access to Kanban River and Safe Sea. 2. District B, with 0.3 million inhabitants. The salary median is $800. This is an old town part of the city with old houses and city parks. This is where your mayor office is and the area is a tourist attraction. Lots of restaurants, pubs, theaters, cinemas. Some high-end shops. Relatively low crime rate with exception to pick pocketers who are everywhere. Access to Kanban River. 3. District C, with 0.7 million inhabitants. The salary median is $1000. This is the upper middle-class district with small cottage houses and backyards. There are some offices there but when it comes to industry this is mostly a light industry zone. Big shopping centers. Some larger parks. Relatively low crime rate. This district has no access to Safe See nor the Kanban River. Most of it sits on the hills surrounding the main city. 4. District D, with 0.1 million inhabitants. This is a wealthy district with salary median of $5000. No industry nor offices. Relatively few commerce centers. Moderate crime rate. This district has access to Safe See and also sits on the hills. Public transportation connects districts A and B quite well. District C has some. District D has almost none.
